First Lover

First Love and possibly more... please comment
I am hungry for the taste of life
So young and unadorned
I am thirsty for a quenching drink
To fill my fiery soul
A longing in my belly
For the fruits you offer up
An appetite for sinful things
A need to whet my cup

At last I see a chance to seize
The desire of my heart
A chance to take the thing I want
And now make you my own
You teased me once too often
You allowed me to admire
Now you will fulfill me
And leave me with a smile

I offer you this precious thing
A piece of me that bleeds
It makes me want to be with you
And then fulfill your needs
It makes me long and lean on you
And take such stupid chances
My heart is what I’m speaking of
Or is it more perchance?
