First Love Chapter 6
Emma had moved into a new town and a new school where she meets and falls in love with Jack who loves her back. ;) The title explains it all. Guys I’ve got bad news, I have to lock myself in a room and start studying for my exams I probably won’t have time to write until next, next week I’m really sorry but I promise to finish this story and not leave u guys hanging, well I am leaving u guys hanging but it wasn’t intentional, I want to ditch studying and write new chapters but my parents would skin me alive if I fail so I’m really sorry… but don’t worry I’ll be back :D anyways, I’m really happy that I get so much positive feed back from everyone :D YOU GUYS ROCK! Thanks to everyone that’s been leaving me messages, lol this is really getting long hope your not tired reading this, lol I’ll write a summary on top of this large essay type thingy lol im really sorry, this is chapter 6 and I hope u enjoy it :D have fun and comments are greatly appreciated :)
Emma’s POV
Emma’s heart was pounding so hard she was afraid Jack would hear it. She glanced over at Jack and he was staring strait ahead his blue eyes clouded. His face was so serious all of a sudden, she looked away. Emma was nervous so she stared at the ground to avoid eye contact and the embarrassment of being caught staring at him.
Emma gave a soft sigh, Jack is so popular… I can’t ever fit in his crowd, even if he does like me back, and it’s not like he’s so desperate on the girls department. He can probably get any girl at the school, being the captain of the soccer team and not to mention that he’s so gorgeous. Andy couldn’t have asked him to walk me home because she was busy talking to the guys, she probably noticed how nervous I got and tried to get Jack to talk to me alone, Emma smiled, gotta thank her later.
So why was he walking me h-- Emma was absorbed in her thoughts so when Jack gently taped her shoulder she jumped "ahhhh!!!" Emma felt her heart stop for a full 5 seconds, and then it speeds up so fast it felt like she had ran a marathon.
Emma felt her face get hot and hotter. Emma didn’t have to look at Jack to see that he was trying hard not to laugh at her… please, find me a hold and let me crawl in it….
"Sorry," Jack said in a strangled voice, like he was holding in his laughter.
This is SO embarrassing! Why do I always blush around him… what would Andy do? Emma sighed; Andy would have grabbed his arms and start talking to him like nothing had happened… I can’t do it! I’m too nervous!
Emma heard Jack clearing his throat, "how was your day at school?" He asked, in his deep dreamy voice.
Emma was dazzled by his voice, huh? What did he ask her? Oh right… he asked about my day… ummm, what should I tell him? Argh, hurry up Emma he’s waiting! Maybe he was asking to be nice? Maybe he doesn’t want to talk about my day…
"… it- it was alright…" Emma responded hesitantly.
"Emma?" Jack said softly.
Emma took a peek at Jack and realized he was looking at her so she quickly stared at the ground again. "Yeah?" He’s staring at me!
"Ummm, I was wondering, are you doing anything tomorrow?"
Tomorrow? It was Saturday tomorrow, she usually spent her weekend watching TV and playing with her puppy Max, they would go out and play in their back yard, nothing important.
"Uhhh n- no I’m not doing anything tomorrow why?" Emma asked
"I was wondering if you’d like to go to the park tomorrow,"
Emma was hesitant, me and Jack? Alone? What if I kept blushing? Then he might decide not to talk to me any more… Jack’s voice broke her thoughts "umm I’m bringing my sister, she’s a little chatty but she’s cute and lovable."
Emma felt relieved but also a little disappointed, somewhere deep inside her she wanted to spend the day alone with Jack…
"Sure," Emma still felt a bit nervous spending the day with Jack even though his sister would be with them. Emma loves children they were so cute and energetic, maybe his sister would like to play with Max, Emma gave Jack a smile, "I’ll bring Max too."
Jack didn’t say anything, his smile was gone and he had clenched his fist … oh no maybe he’s allergic to dogs? Or he doesn’t like them… Emma felt a little sad at that because she loved Max.
"Who’s Max?" Jack asked in a tight voice. He was frowning a little.
"Oh, Max is my puppy," she felt nervous, "he’s very cute," she added. They were at her house.
Emma felt Jack relax, "great." Jack smiled again, "Maddie loves puppies, me and Maddie will come here first then we can all walk to the park."
Why was he so tensed before? Emma felt confused. Oh well he seems to like puppies and I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun at the park tomorrow.
Emma smiled, "Okay."
"We’ll see you tomorrow then, bye Emma."
"Bye Jack." Emma watched Jack walking down the street, she smiled, tomorrow was going to be a great day. Emma felt excited, ill be spending time with Jack tomorrow, Emma felt all warm and gooey inside. She realized she was falling for him…
