First Love Chapter 4
Emma had moved into a new town and a new school where she meets and falls in love with Jack who loves her back. ;) The title explains it all. Emma’s POV
School had just ended and Emma was putting things in her locker when this really pretty blond cheerleader type girl walked up to her with a bunch of other girls. Emma had tried to close her locker and walk the other way. (She knew their type, as pretty as a rose but has a mean streak)
"Hey new girl, what are you doing?" the blond girl said, Emma guessed she was the leader.
"Those books look heavy, let me help you," the blond knocked the books out of Emma’s arm.
"Ops? Sorry," She made an innocent face and her friends were laughing
"Hey, why if it isn’t miss klutz," Andy walked up to the blond girl.
"Mind your own business, Carter" She glared at Andy and walked away while the others followed her.
"Don’t worry about her Emma, I got your back," Andy smiled. "Want to watch Jack at the soccer team practice?"
Emma blushed when Andy mentioned Jacks name. "I don’t have a thing for Jack!" Emma blurted out. "Suuure," Andy replied. Emma blushed harder when Andy gave her another know smile and a wink.
At the field Jack was amazing! Wow his legs are so muscular…Emma giggled. Good thing he couldn’t hear me… Emma saw Jack looking in their direction. Emma felt her face get red… Arggg.
"GOOOOOOOOO, Max! Ryan’s gaining on you RUNNNNN!!!!" Andy yelled like a banshee.
Emma was staring at her with her mouth wide open. Andy turned and saw Emma’s expression; she gave her a big grin and just shrugged.
Emma laughs out loud and when she looked back at Jack she noticed that he was talking to the blond cheerleader from earlier. Emma had known that the cheerleader was part of the popular group. Every school has one and Emma felt really gloomy, Jack’s in the popular crowds too. Maybe they’re a couple…
Andy saw Emma looking at them, "hey Emma don’t worry about Brianna she wants Jack but he’s doesn’t like her that way and he knows all the bad things she’s done," Andy gave her a reassuring smile.
Yea, but she’s beautiful… Emma thought unhappily. Jack probably thinks I’m just a shy girl that’s crushing on him… Emma sighed. For once Emma wished that she wasn’t so shy and plain. I bet those popular girls don’t even think twice about asking a guy out… Emma sighed again.
"Hey Emma practice is over, want to go down and talk to them?" Andy asked.
Emma was horrified at the thought of talking to all those boys, she stared at Andy, Andy smiled reassuringly, "hey don’t worry, I’ve known most of them since kindergarten, they’re really nice." Andy started to pull Emma towards the fields, "common."
When they reached the fields all the boys started walking towards them. "Hey Andy who do you have with you?" A boy with really blond hair asked. He had blue eyes and cute face but Emma thought Jack looked cuter. He smiled at her and Emma began to blush.
They were all staring at her and she wished she was at home, anywhere but here, Emma thought. "This is Emma, she’s a bit shy so be nice to her," Andy said.
Emma saw Jack coming and she felt her heart speed up, "hey Emma," Jack smiled at her.
Emma felt a tingle when he said her name in his deep memorising voice. She blushed and smiled back at him, "hey," Emma replied in a soft voice. His eyes are so blue…
Emma suddenly looked away embarrassed, arggg he probably thinks I’m a nut now, and he probably doesn’t like shy girls like me who blushes constantly… Emma saw Andy surrounded by the guys and was relieved that no on saw her look at Jack like she was a lovesick puppy.
Emma was feeling uncomfortable and was nervous that they would all turn their attention back at her so she mumbled to Jack, "I got to go home, can u tell Andy that?" She didn’t wait for a reply and started to walk towards her house. She felt so bad when she thought about what Jack thought of her. I just walked away and they probably think I’m a rude girl that blushes a lot … Emma felt like crying when someone grabbed her hands, she felt a zap of electricity running through her whole body.
"Emma wait up," she heard a deep familiar voice. Emma turned around, "can I walk you home?" Jack asked smiling at her.
Oh my gosh, Emma’s heart skipped a beat. He smiled and Emma saw a hint of his dimples. "I- I err…" Emma smeared. This is your chance dummy! Her mind screamed, say yes before he changes his mind! "…Sure!" Emma blurted out. She blushed when Jack gave her a wink, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
