Sorry!
Jack’s POV
At practice today Jack saw Andy and Emma was with her. They were both sitting on the bleachers watching the boy’s soccer team along with a few other students that were still sticking around after school.
They were getting ready for next Friday’s big game against their rival, the bullfrogs, Jack waved to Andy and Emma giving them a big grin.
Jack was playing great and he felt a burst of energy whenever he looks towards Emma and although it was too far away to see he knew that she was blushing.
He smiled to himself remembering how cute she was when he first introduced himself to her and that she was shy and nervous.
She wasn’t like most girls in his school who weren’t shy to speak their minds and didn’t care all that much how their words affected other people.
Just then he saw one of those girls, Brianna Williams
She was the captain of the cheerleaders. Her dad owned a big company so she spoiled and got everything she ever wanted. She’s been trying to get her claws on Jack but he saw what she did to his friend and his girlfriend, trying to break up their relationship, so Jack had learned to stay away from her.
Brianna’s been paying attention to Jack lately and he’s been trying to avoid Brianna as hard as she was trying to catch him alone.
Oh no… Jack saw Brianna heading his way. He began to walk to the opposite direction, "Ooohh Jackyyy! Where are you going?" Jack cringed when he heard her shrilly high voice.
Too late, Jack inwardly groaned. He sighed and turned around, "Hey Brianna."
"Jacky, I haven’t seen you around lately" she smiled showing the most perfect white teeth that money could buy, "where have you been?"
Away from you, Jack thought, "uhhh soccer and schoolwork’s been keeping me busy," he replied.
"Oh, you’re so smart you don’t need to do any homework, do you want to take me to the movies this weekend, Jacky?" she cooed.
"I’m er… ah.. I'm busy… I have to…" Jack just remembered that he had promised his little sister Madison he’d take her to the park one day, "…I have to take my sister to the park that day!…sorry"
"Aww but there are bugs at the park and dog poo all over the place, not to mention all that dog slobber when they run around," Brianna pouted.
"Okay, boys go hit the showers," the coach yelled.
"Oh! Uh… got to go," he began running towards his team mates, "bye Brianna."
"I’ll see you at school then!" She said in her high voice.
"Not if I see you first…" Jack muttered to himself.
