Finding Love - Pt. 2 & 3
More of Kyle you get to meet Cece and Melinda. Plz review
I woke up in my dad's room. I must have fallen asleep when I was thinking too much. I held my head in spite of drinking too much. Crap. I forgot that I had to get Josh a present for his birthday. When I looked at the clock I was late for my meting with Cece. Cece was my girlfriend. Not actually my real girlfriends just a friend that is a girl. She had blonde like hair with many other colors and hazel eyes.
I got up took a shower, brush my teeth, and washed my face. I grabbed the car keys and told Josh that I would be back with his gift. He didn't care. I flipped the brown hair out of my eyes. Ahh, the sun. It felt good on my skin. I got in the car and drove off to Cece's house. When I got there her and ugly Betty were outside. Ugly Betty's real name was Melinda but she was ugly so I called her ugly Betty.
When I got out of the car Cece tried to hide something by going into the house so suddenly. I ran in after her. "After none ugly Betty." I said heading to the porch. "Same to you Barney." She said and got out a cigarette. "The only reason why your so wrinkly is because you keep smoking ugly Betty." I said opening the door.
Cece was washing dishes and stuff. "Hey Ce" I said hugging her. "Hey Ky, What's up?" She said fixing the towel on her head. "Uh, you called me over here and what's with the towel?" I said pointing to it. "Oh I died my hair black." She smacked me with the pan then said, "Do you have a problem with it?" I shook my head. In the nicest voice she could do the meanest things.
"So you over Melinda," She extended ugly Betty's name. "Are you?" Ugly Betty and I use to go out. Until my mom died and she started smoking. She next to Cece. That's not how she really looks but it is very close. "Ehh, She is ugly. Yeah I am over it."
We talked for a while until my dad called me home. I forgot about Josh's gift so my dad said we have to spend a day together. Huh, I can't wait for the next meeting. Unless I forget about Josh or the witch again. The only one good in my life is Cece. I think I love her...
Uh it was one of those nights. The nights were you felt like you needed sleep but you didn't want it. I stood up all night with my brother. Not because I forgot his birthday or anything. I just wanted to make up for being so drunk.
"Ky, we got to get one of those!" He yelled while pointing at the T.V. There was one of those new iphones or touch thingy on the commercial. "Hey, calm down. Dad and the witch are sleeping." I said in a whisper. "Okay," he said back. "Ky," He said sitting up on the bed. "What." "Why don't you like Nancy?" I was silent. I didn't want to answer. But I knew I had to. "Because, she's in the replacement of our mom." I said as quiet as I could. "What does that mean?" He asked facing me. "Dad and Nancy aren't married."
"Not yet." I said sitting up. "Watch she will be all ' I love you children so much.' In front of dad when he marries her but when she is watching us or something like that she will be all ' I'm your mother now! So shut up and get me my hot tea!'" Josh was silent for while. "But Ky, when you were gone dad said to tell you that he is going to propose to Nancy. I said I was in approval of it because Nancy is nice whenever you are around her. And she even told me that she would never do that." I shook my head. "It's all a phase. Step by step. Like when we go fishing."
Josh looked at me like I was crazy. "I'm sorry Ky but there is no way Nancy would do that. I just don't believe you." Then he jumped off my bed and opened the door to his own room. "Night Ky!" I heard him call out.
That traitor! But it wasn't his fault that he was getting pulled in step but step. It was the witch for lowering the trap!

When I woke up it smelt well, like... bacon. I walked into the kitchen seeing the witch, my dad, and Josh. " Hey Kyle," The witch said, "Want some breakfast?" I stared at her. "No." My dad turned around. "Come on Kyle. Little bacon, little eggs-" "No." I opened the refrigerator door. "Well then you're not hungry." Josh said. "I never said I was not hungry. I just said I don't want your witch food." I shut the door and walked out into the kitchen.
I heard footsteps following me. "Ky," It was my dad. "What?" I answered turning around. "Why are you like that to Nancy?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Your brother's taking this very well while you get drunk-" "First of all dad, He is not old enough, Second he can't go into bars." I said. "Ky, you got to let your mother go. I know its hard but-" "Then why are you marring that... that thing-"
My dad slapped me. "Don't speak of Nancy like that do you understand." I was silent. "It's not my fault that she looks like an animal. Anyway you'd never stand up for mom like that! So why do you do it for her!" This time I was raising my voice. "You don't understand!"
He screamed. "What, is she more important than mom, dad? Is she?" My dad was silent. Almost to say that she was more important. "At this point, yeah she is."
Suddenly I was crying. Why was he saying this? "Kyle you got to understand that is hard for all of us, but at the same time most of us have moved on. It's almost been a whole year Ky, you got to move." He tried to pat my back but moved away. "Yeah dad. You keep with stupid method. You traitor." And with that, I got dressed and all that neat stuff and drove over to Cece's.

When I got there, Ugly Betty was smoking and drinking at the same time. Weirdo. "What up Ugly Betty?" She just rolled her eyes. I opened the door. Usually Cece locked the door. I walked inside seeing Cece's new hairstyle.
"Hey what's up?" She asked getting up from the table that she was cleaning. "Nothing. I just got pissed off at my dad. It's a long story." She looked at me like she wasn't in the mood for long stories. "Hey at least Miss. Smokey wasn't puffing all over your porch." She was talking about Ugly Betty.
"Wow! How long has she been there?" I said pointing at the porch. "About ten minutes. Usually she is out there for two minutes." I shook my head. "So how is your life?" I asked sitting on her coach. "Like always. Hard, rough." Most of the time I thought it was cool that Cece lived on her own, but when you her clean, that's a whole different story. She sat next to me and sighed.
"Life stinks." We both said at the time. We didn't look at each other because that never happened before. Usually, one of said it and one of us thought it. "Ce," I said afraid to ask her a question. Well the one question that had been on my mind since my mom died and her left her for a rich man.
"Yeah?" She sounded as if she wanted to cry. I deiced to change my question with another question. "Are you sad, about what happened."
Then she started crying. Her hands were covering her face and she sobbing like never before. "It's okay Ce, Everything will be fine." I pulled her into my chest, and of course I felt tears on my shirt.
"I miss her Ky." Her voice was shaky with every word. "I know. It's okay." Suddenly she stopped crying. "I'll be fine." She got off my chest. She said laughing a little. "So you and your dad have another fight." I nodded. "What did he do or say?" I was silent as the words played over and over in my head a million times. "He said Nancy was more important then mom, well, my mom."
She shook her head. "How long has it been?" I guess I never told Cece about my mom's death. "It's been almost two years." "It's been two years and you haven't told me about your mom's death." I nodded my head silently. "It's okay. You don't have fell bad. It's none of my business anyway-" "No Ce, it is. I should have told you-"
"Hey! First of all don't cut me off," I laughed until I realized she was serious, "and second agree with me." I looked at her. "Only if you agree with me about Nancy aka, the witch." She chuckled. "Why is she a witch?" She asked. "Because, she always acting nice. But I know one day I will be walking and... BAM!" Cece jumped. "I will be squashed on the floor like a bug." She laughed and I laughed with her.
"Well I won't be able to agree until I meet her. Okay." I nodded my head. "It's almost lunch would you like some casserole?" She said getting up and walking to the kitchen. "Yeah sure." I said. "Can you get Miss. Smokey please?" I sighed "Fine."
That whole afternoon was good. Ugly Betty didn't say a thing and Cece and I got closer. We decided that she would come over next Saturday for dinner. I talked it out with the traitor. The dad traitor.
