Fighting For Love

If my heart could speak a thousand words
The poem would be written for you
If my eyes were made for one person only
Then you give me the miracle of sight
Let me be the one to guide you through the maze
Let me be the one to hold you when you’re weak
I will wait for you to be mine, to call mine
Because I know in my heart that we are fait
We were made for each other to wander through life
Never reaching loneliness, because we have the perfect company
So we must fight, I will fight for you forever
Will you fight for me? Will you?
Because we need to try to make this happen
We each need to fight for what we want
Because it doesn’t happen as easy as in the movies
I’m willing to fight in honor of making you mine
Are you willing to do the same?
Or am I fighting a losing battle?
