FIFA Rankings 2012

The FIFA football rankings for the month of May 2012 have been released. World and European Champions Spain still lead the pack, while Germany and Uruguay take the next two places. Let's have a look at the top 25 countries in the latest FIFA World Rankings for 2012.
Spain enjoys a lead of almost a hundred points over Germany at the top of the table in the latest 2012 FIFA rankings. With just 8 exhibition international matches being played over the last one month, there is only one change in the top 25. Argentina edge out Denmark to take the 9th spot from them. Besides this, everyone else stays put in the rankings. We can expect more movement though in the coming months, as there are quite a few exhibition matches to be played, besides the European Championship and World Cup Qualifiers for the 2014 finale.

With hardly any activity happening in the international arena over the last month, there isn't a major shuffle in any rankings, with the biggest gainer being Jamaica, moving up 5 spots to number 51, and the biggest drop by Congo, slipping 5 places to 1240.

Here are the latest 2012 FIFA rankings as on May 9.
