Of no use is my mosquito mesh!
My mornings are no longer fresh.
Could you tell me where did you go?
Why do you drive me to a mood, very low?
Day in and day out I don't seek you.
Few hours of your company are rightfully due.
My nights are miserable being wide awake.
Please come to me for my eyes' sake.
A night without you is absolutely fine.
Your continuous absence makes me whine!
Dark circle surrounds my eyes.
Their burning needs patting of ice.
Eyes' redness does not diminish or reduce.
You, they are unable to seduce!
Head feels heavy like a corpse.
It is as though any moment I may collapse.
Why do you harass me so much, dear?
My calls, are you able to hear?
It's true my mental agony doesn't let you near.
Without you, I may turn insane is my fear.
Try to give a slip to my stress and distress.
But for you, to whom shall I seek redress?
I don't want to force you by a tablet or pill.
Also do I know alcohol makes you chill!
It is not ethical to choose that 'addictive' lane.
I wish that you come on your own.
Blessed are those with whom you spend the full night.
Here am I who has to beg and fight!
Sleep sweet sleep, you are kind and good.
Compassionate by nature, will you come to my bed?
