Infertility is described as not being able to conceive after one year of trying to produce a sibling. The study shows that some married couples can’t have their own children because of infertility. To help those individuals, infertility treatments are developed.

Not getting pregnant is one dilemma some women experience. To be able to produce their own siblings, woman should get pregnant. Unfortunately, not all couples can conceive right away due to different factors involved.

To figure it out, woman releases an egg coming from the ovaries which is called ovulation. The egg will directly go to the fallopian tube and go next to the womb or uterus. The fertilized sperm of man is attached inside the uterus which is called implantation. Infertility treatment is needed if this process doesn’t meet one’s individual.

Both man and woman can acquire fertility problems and this varies. There are several factors for male and female to consider in which some are not yet determined.

If one person is infertile, he or she needs to undergo infertility treatment. First, consult your obstetrician gynecologist to suffice you more information and to educate you on the different methods used in performing infertility treatment.

The most common cause of infertility is ovulation disorders. However, there are infertility treatments available and one is by taking drugs prescribed by doctors. Clomid, Serophene and Milophene are the drugs taken as a pill. These drugs improve the chance of female to get pregnant. It simply activates your ovaries to discharge eggs. These drugs are considered effective and safe. Clomiphene costs less than the Gonadotropins, but has a risk of side effects.

Metaformin is used by female who has the condition of polycystic ovary syndrome or the PCOS, but this kind of drug is combined with clomiphene when taken.

If for instance the clomiphene will not work for you, hormone shots are introduced. Daily shots are given starting from the first day of menstruation. Mild side effects are experienced using this method. Side effects include bloating and stomach sickness. If you have ovarian cyst, more serious effects is experienced. Furthermore, clomiphene increases your chance of having your own twins.

Another infertility treatment to women is transvaginal ultrasound. This method is used to insert ultrasound probe into the vagina. The ultrasound waves released from the ultrasound probe pass through the vaginal wall and bounce off the ovaries. If follicular development is normal, the next step to follow will be the injection of the hormone HCG for ovulation to occur, and this is followed by intrauterine insemination.

IUI method used to separate the sperm from seminal fluid. It has a small amount of fluid to be placed inside the uterus. During the ovulation period, your cervical mucus must be plenty. It must also clear and slippery to make the sperm easy to pass. If not, woman needs an infertility treatment.

ART technique or "In Vitro Fertilization" is the most popular and expensive. The eggs are surgically removed to mix with the sperm in a glass dish. After the eggs have been fertilized in a few days, the fertilized eggs will be placed inside the womb where they continue to grow.

Always keep your body healthy. Women who are overweight are required to loose weight not just because of infertility alone, but also involves of not having a good chance for the treatment to become successful.

Don’t just take medications without the doctor’s advice. There are of various side effects and many not suited for you. There are examinations and tests before a particular medication will be given.
