Favorite Movies of All Time

Favorite movies of all time, are the movies that you can watch again and again, and then again after few years, the movies whose dialogs you know by heart. Here are some of my favorite movies.
There are certain movies no matter how many times you watch them, you will still want to watch them again. There are certain comedy films which have funny scenes you already know about, but still will laugh at no matter how well you know the jokes in them. There are certain movies which are very depressing, and every time you watch them you will find tears in your eyes. Listed below, is my favorite movies of all time list, which I am sure you will agree with.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994): This movie stars Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, who play the role of two men in prison. Great acting and great storyline can be seen in this Oscar-winning movie...

Andaz Apna Apna (1994) : This is a totally chaotic comedy movie, with two guys who keep chasing name and fame. Then they fall in love, then somebody gets abducted, there are double roles, the movie takes the audience through various scenes. This movie is very hilarious, and you won't let you be get bored for a minute.

Shrek Series (2001):The complete Shrek movie series is hilarious and has strange and funny characters. These kids' favorite movies are about Shrek, a green ogre who meets a princess and falls in love with her.

The LOTR Series (2001): The world-famous series of Lord of the Rings written by J. R. R. Tolkien, and directed by Peter Jackson into three epic movies. These are the kind of movies you would like to rent when you are having a bad cold, resting at home and have nothing to do.

Matrix Series (1999): The Matrix series stars Keanu Reeves, who is a computer hacker and then he learns about his true nature and the true nature of the world existing around him.

Hotaru no haka (1988): Better known as Grave of the Fireflies to the English audience, this movie is a tragic story during World War II about a young boy and his baby sister, who struggle for their survival. A movie that will make you cry.

Tonari no Totoro (1988): This movie is also known as My Neighbor Totoro, it is about two little girls who are sisters. They move with their father to the country, and have adventurers with wonderful forest spirits.

Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo (1966): Popularly known as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, this movie is about 3 people and their hunt for a dead man's gold.

Before Sunrise (1995): This is the best romantic movie in my opinion. It stars Ethan Hawke (an American guy) and Julie Delpy (a French girl), who meet on an Eurorail journey and fall for each other. This movie is not a stereotypical romantic film, but just about a guy and girl who keep having conversations. If you liked this movie, then watch Before Sunset too.

Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006): One of the craziest rock music movies ever made... If you enjoyed watching Jack Black in The School of Rock, you will enjoy this movie even more. This movie is about two guys who form a rock band called Tenacious D, and their search for the Pick of Destiny.

The Kill Bill Series (2003): These are awesome, stylish Action movies with great storyline and great music score. Directed by Quentin Tarantino and starring Uma Thuman, this movie series have central character the Bride (played by Uma Thurman), who is taking revenge from a team of assassins team that hurt her.

Les triplettes de Belleville (2003): Also known as The Triplets of Belleville, this movie is about Madame Souza her dog, and the Belleville sisters who team up to find Madame Souza's kidnapped son.

A Walk to Remember (2002): This is a beautiful romantic film, starring Shane West and Mandy Moore, who are two teens who fall for each other.

Kung Fu Panda: This hilarious Oscar nominated movie is one of the favorite teen movies, which is about a Po the Panda, who wants to learn Kung Fu.

The Big Lebowski (1998): Starring Jeff Bridges at Lebowski the Dude, this movie is about the Dude Lebowski who is mistaken for a millionaire Lebowski, who goes to meet the millionaire to get compensation for his rug.

Persepolis (2007): This is a very hilarious and beautifully animated film, which is about the journey of an Iranian girl from her childhood to mid age.

Pirates of the Caribbean Series (2003): These are great Pirate movie series, starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, and other famous Hollywood actors like Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom, Bill Nighy, etc.

You Got Served (2004): These are one of the best step dancing movies ever made. This movie doesn't have a great storyline, but the dance sequences are awesome.

The Guardian (2006): This movie stars Ashton Kutcher, who for once can be seen in a serious role which he did justice to. The movie is about the life of the coast guards, their training and their live missions.

Tropic Thunder (2008): This hilarious movie stars many famous Hollywood actors, who in the movie are actually famous actors who are thrown in a live setting of a jungle, which has cameras all over. Watch!

After Sex (2007): As the title suggests, this movie is clearly for adults to watch. The movie is about nine separate couples and the complexity of today's relationships.

Aladdin (1992): The Oscar-winning movie, is about the same old Arabian night's tale about Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, but when Walt Disney tells it, it is totally different.

Enchanted (2007): This is a completely entertaining animated cum live action musical romantic movie, which is about a girl who is about to get married to a prince but ends up in New York.

Hook (1991): This movie is the story of Peter Pan when he grows up, who has to save his kidnapped children from Captain Hook.

Pinocchio (1940): Again the same old story of Pinocchio, the wooden puppet who wants to be a real boy, but is different because it is made by Walt Disney.

Ging chat goo si Series (1985): Don't know what these movies are? They are The Police Story Series starring Jackie Chan. These movies have great action and are totally hilarious, watch!

Around the World in 80 Days (2004): This movie stars many famous Hollywood stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, Steve Coogan, the Wilson brother, and more... The movie is about an inventor who wants to prove that he can go around the world in 80 days.

Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001) : Popularly known as Amelie, this movie is about Amelie an innocent and naive girl who lives in Paris, who wants to help people around her.

These were my favorite movies, I hope you agree with the names of the movies above. If you haven't watched any of these, then do watch them, and you will know why are they among my favorites!
