Come 21st June and our heart feels like thanking our dear Father for all his caring. The bond of a child with his/her parents is very precious and no golden coin stands before the relation. History of Father's Day
The concept of Father's Day was first proposed in 1909 by Mrs. John B. Dodd, of Washington. She discovered the idea so as to honor her father, William Smart, a Civil War veteran. Later, in June19, 1910, the day was keenly observed in Spokane Washington. No sooner this lovely theme has gained wide popularity and till date almost 50 countries of the world celebrate the day with pomp and grandeur
