Fate - Ch.14
I don't know when my next chapter will be, but just keep an eye out...
Thanks Lexy L., Amrit, and Rebby for the comments...I'm just exhausted and grumpy with me moving into college and trying to make new friends. You three's comments actually made me smile, which is a good thing, and one made a tear; not naming names, but it was a good tear, thanks for putting up with my crap for awhile! Thanks! This chapter is specifically for you three!

Korey stayed on the road, waiting for the werewolf to come out. Minutes slugged by, and he can sense Rosie's frightened feelings through his mind.
"Come out and fight!"
Thirty seconds later, the werewolf came out. He stalked towards Korey until he stood twenty feet apart. He transformed back into human.
"Michae, leave Rosie alone," Korey growled.
"This is my paid job. I'm not leaving without her."
"Can we negotiate over this?"
"No, this job came from the leader, Lynos."
Korey's mind suddenly stopped. Why would Lynos want Rosie for?
"He wants her, so he hired me to retrieve her. I'm getting her one way or the other," Michael deepily said.
I wish I had my gun with me, he thought. "Leave now, or I'll fight you."
"Fine, lets fight," then Michael turned into a werewolf.
The werewolf prowled and pounced to get Korey, but he was too swift. The wolf tried to bite Korey, but that too failed.
Rosie watched Korey elegantly move, she fears only one thing; loss.
"I need to help him," Rosie whined.
"How? You're human!" Thomas said hardly.
Rosie bit back a cry and stared out the window again.
Korey pulled out the pocketknife which was in his back pocket. He kept it close to him.
Michael stared at Korey and then jumped towards Korey, landing right on him.
The pocketknife flew out of Korey's hand, and he looked around for any other options. He put all of his strength in his legs, but couldn't kick the two hundred pound beast off of his body.
Rosie watched the werewolf landed on Korey and he tried to get free. She wants, needs, to help Korey out.
She unlocked the door and got out of the car. Thomas got out quickly and grabbed her arm.
"Rosie," Thomas said.
"Thomas, I need to help him. You would do the same for Erika and Eve. Korey has been protecting me the last five years, it's time to owe him the favor."
"I'm suppose to stop you, but you're right. Here, let me help you," and Thomas pulled out a silver knife.
"Thanks," she whispered and started to walk towards the brawl.
The werewolf bit Korey in the arm and he shouted in pain. Then Michael went to human form and picked up the pocketknife.
"Here you go," and he jammed it into Korey's chest.
Korey wanted to yell, but he held it back. Then he noticed Rosie is coming.
"No, Rosie," he weakily said.
"Korey!" she cried out.
"So, she has enough common sense to come out when the vampire is hurt."
"Leave now," Rosie threatened.
All Michael did was laughed, "now I'm being threatened by a human."
He slowly walked over to Rosie and grabbed her by the throat. Then she dropped the knife.
"We better get going," Michael chuckled and started to drag Rosie away.
She barely reached the knife and jammed it into his leg. He fell hard and Rosie sat on his back.
"I'm not going anywhere, you are going to hell," then Rosie stabbed Michael in the back and trhough his heart.
"No, she's only human..." was Michael's last words and he started to turn into dirt.
Rosie quickly got up and ran to Korey. He still laying on the ground.
"Hold still," and she pulled the knife out of his chest. Then she placed ger hands on his face.
"You disobeyed me. I told you to stay in the car," he then moaned.
"Korey, I watched and waited, and seeing and feeling your pain was enough to kill myself," she sighed and pulled the shirt up to see the wound. "You lost a lot of blood," she quickly said.
"Feels like it, I'm losing feeling in my fingers."
"No! Korey, you need blood. Drink from me," she offered.
"Rosie, you need your blood. I can't take it."
"I'll force you, like you forced me."
"Fine, just because I don't want to see you hurt yourself," he moaned and grabbed her arm, then he sank his teeth in her wrist.
Rosie gasped in pain once he started and then she watched him. Her body felt funny, like she's being sucked dry.
"Korey," she gasped.
He pulled away and felt his body healing.
"Rosie, you're a life savor," then he hugged her.
"I know," she smiled. "Lets head to your parent's house."
Korey got up and helped Rosie up too. They walked to the car and got in, so they can get to their destination.
