Walking Lunges with Dumbbells: This is a very simple and one of the best fat burning exercises. You will need dumbbells and an empty space to walk. To start with, walk one step forward with dumbbells in your hand. Land slowly on the heel first, followed by the forefoot. Now lower your body as much as you can, while stressing the front foot and lowering the back foot until it is almost touching the ground. Stand forward now and move with the opposite leg. Repeat with both the legs. Remember, both the legs should remain straight and the both the feet should also remain in the same direction while you are lunging forward. Lateral Squat: To burn fat with this exercise, stand with your feet apart, a shoulder width is enough. Now hold dumbbells in your hand and move one step to your right and perform a squat. Bend down as much as you can while keeping your back straight and face upright. Slowly return to the original position, again keeping your feet apart. Now step to your right and again perform a squat, and come back to your normal position. Repeat the exercise 10 times, or until you can stand it. Standing Calf Raise: This is a good workout routine for men. Take a dumbbell in your right hand and stand on a raised platform or a step. Place your left hand on something for support. Now place your left foot behind your left ankle, in other words, cross your left foot. Balance yourself on the right foot then slowly lower your right heel as much as possible. Then slowly lift it high, as much as you can. Repeat the same procedure with the left leg. Do at least 10 repetitions, however, do not stress yourself too much.
Single Leg Hip Extension: You will need a yoga ball for this fat burning workout for men. Lie on your back on an exercise mat or floor. Place the hands at your sides, palms facing down. Place one heel on the top of the yoga ball, the knee should be bent. Raise the other leg straight up. Raise your self up by exerting pressure on the yoga ball. Hold the position for 10 seconds and then lower yourself down. Do at least 2 sets of 10 repetitions with each leg. You can make this exercise more difficult by raising the hands over your chest.
