Fashion for Men
What will the fashion for men be like, in the coming year? Will it be smart and chic, or suave and sophisticated? Let us predict the fashion trends for men in this article.

Formals
A pinstriped well tailored suit will always remain in fashion just like it was in 1950s! However, cuts of suits have undergone a sea change. Today's suits are tailored to perfection, accentuating that lean, muscular body. A slim fit is preferred over a loose suit that hangs from shoulders. Kent cut, with longer lapels, a slim waist and broad shoulders are some of the things to look for, while buying a suit. Besides, the colors of the suit are also becoming bolder by day. Although, nothing beats a charm of a black or navy suit at a business meeting, younger generation is also increasingly becoming fond of sophisticated colors like beige, ivory, peach etc. Although, formals provide minimal scope for experimenting with colors and bold patterns, you can certainly add a dash of color to your appearance with neckties, in fresh colors such as red, maroon, yellow, salmon pink etc. Most importantly, do not forget to invest in a great pair of shoes. Remember, man is always judged by his shoes.
Business Casuals
Business casuals are the way to go this season. Many corporate companies are increasingly permitting their employees to swap their formals for business casuals. Business casual dress code offers maximum comfort and ease to the wearer, while still exuding professionalism. A pair of trousers in neutral color such as black, navy, brown, gray with a full sleeved plain shirt can be an ideal office-wear. You may throw a sports jacket over, for client meetings or similar occasions. Although, you may wear bold colored shirts during summer, keep your choice of colors limited to pastels during other times of the year. You may wear a tie, if your position warrants it.
Smart Casuals
Smart casuals are a new genre of casual men's clothing, suitable for workplaces with less stress on dress code. They are more appropriate for offices with a casual work culture. The word 'casual' in smart casuals should not be taken for a pair of shorts and flip flops. This year's fashion trend for smart casual clothing is influenced by V-necks and feminine colors. Interestingly, men have no inhibitions about wearing pink tees to work. So, you might as well take the plunge and sport a bold color like orange or turquoise. Pair it with khakis or beige corduroys and off you go! Golf shirts are also a great option for smart casual clothing. Alternatively, you may also wear a designer jean and a polo neck shirt or a V-neck cardigan.
Casuals
Screen printed t-shirts and band t-shirts are as popular as ever. This season, cotton flat-front casual pants have greatly replaced black dyed jeans. Another interesting addition to men's casual clothing is a return of hats, especially fedora, newsboy and Kangol caps. Shorts and three fourths are also very much in vogue.
This season will bid goodbye to large, funky accessories and welcome its modern, sleeker version. Fashion for men this season is more about attitude than actual fashion clothing. So, make sure you ooze confidence from your dressing and attitude alike!
