NFL: Vick Gets His Deep Threat
Will Mike Vick be throwing the long ball to his new receiver Ashley Lelie? Well, Lelie is always ranked near the top of the NFL in yards per catch. So the answer to that is yes, but how does this factor into your fantasy sports teams?

NFL: Now or Never
There are two NFL starting quarterbacks steadily fading out as hopeful starters. Somehow they've managed to keep their jobs for over several years, even though their play on the field hasn't warranted that. One of the quarterbacks has quietly probably been the worst quarterback to ever start a decade of football. Accordingly, it's now or never for two of the NFL's most inconsistent quarterbacks.

NFL: Will Rivers Create His Own Brees?
What to do with Philip Rivers? Drew Brees proved himself as a pro bowler last year, while Philip Rivers proved was that he was capable of holding out. 2005, is going to be a big key in shaping the future of the Chargers. Who will we all be talking about next season as the Chargers quarterback?

NFL: Realistic Wake Up
Drew Bennett was listed as the number one wide receiver in a fantasy football publication recently. It's time for open criticism and realistic views on this matter.

NFL: The NFL's Spark Plug
The term "starter" should be labeled as crutch carries. If the starter is used too much they are going to miss a stretch during a season. The span could be a few weeks to the whole year and be a severe crutch all season for the franchise. If the crutch carries were reduced, who knows how that could have prevented an injury.

NFL: Sign'Em
Seattle must be ready to submit to the Arizona Cardinals, and also let the 49ers creep back up in the standings. Their poor off-season non-movement with Shaun Alexander has to be ranked as the worst team management planning in a long time. Either they have a great running back in mind to sign next season, or they are ready to sink deep into the Pacific Ocean.

NFL: Is a Lockout Looming?
Drew Rosenhaus may be the ultimate negotiator in the NFL, but he may be the instigator of a future NFL lockout. Hearing the word "holdout" in the past five to seven years was never a major cause for concern. Approaching the 2005 season though, there is an alarming jump with new agreements not even close. Is this going to be good or bad for the future of the NFL?

NFL: Awakened or Set?
Injuries are the most common setback in an athlete’s professional career. The recovery time period is often sped up to benefit the their team’s immediate future. In some cases it’s worth the risk, but more than often it causes a prolonged setback that can carry on for an entire season. Rather than let that athlete get the extended rest, it turns into a future problem.

NFL: Special Interest
In fantasy football the latest angle of notching owners is looking for multiple threats. Athletes, especially wide receivers that do more than just play their main position. There aren’t many out there, but a receiver that is in the top three rotation and a solid kick or punt returner is a huge plus. Considering that more and more leagues are adding points for return yardage, you can really bonus up by snagging a slash athlete.

NFL: Biggest QB Sleeper
The balance of mediocre quarterbacks after the top five is on an equal level of a questionable outlook. Fantasy owners thinking that Carson Palmer is a major sleeper, have absolutely no prior strong indications to bank on that. Sure he is a young quarterback that should build upon his progression towards the end of last season, but there is no guaranteeing.

NFL: Tantrum Tandems
Grouping together is a way to always cover someone’s back. Whether you’re on the field in war, or on a field trip with classmates, a unified group keeps a sense of security and reassurance for each other. In football, grouping is related to competition. Ahead or behind you on the depth charts are teammates aiming to leave you in the dust, or clip you from the back. If an athlete doesn’t stay on their feet, suddenly they’re down and out.

NFL: Seperation By Miles
Running backs are the main priority in early rounds of fantasy football drafts. It's an area that needs considerable attention because of the shortage of consistent backs and questions concerning durability. One quarterback though warrants the attention of throwing that plan out.

NFL: What's The Rush?
It's just the middle of June and fantasy football drafts are beginning. False start, because that is just jumping the gun. Hold your horses, the fun will be there.

NFL: Edition One: Running Back Rankings
They endure the rigorous beating by going through the grind it out motions of tackle football. A running back knows they’re going to belted eventually, but they feel they can outrun, twist, angle, and maneuver their way to the end zone on every play. That’s exactly the type of mentality a running back needs, and is what fantasy owner’s love.

NFL: Edition One: Quarterback Rankings
It’s that time. As the ruckus of fantasy football leagues begin to formulate, the brainstorming is even more intense. Quarterbacks are often the least looked at in early rounds of fantasy football, besides Manning, Culpepper, and McNabb. That’s a pattern that won’t change because quarterbacks are inconsistent.

NFL: Baby Steps
Losman's success is demanded by Bills fans, but patience better be expected in Losman's development.

New Number One
NFL: Out in Cincinnati, head coach Marvin Lewis has quickly arranged and programmed a team into believers. The main athlete that is going to benefit is going to be star wide receiver Chad Johnson. His numbers have always been top ten and respectable, and that was with a bewildered young quarterback.

Pressure Is On
NFL: We’d be very wary in selecting McNair, and if you do make sure you snatch up Volek or vice versa. McNair still has the mindset of a Pro Bowler, and that can also be a negative. Last season, when he tried to play through injuries, he made a lot of crucial mistakes because his body couldn’t make the plays.

No Turning Back
NFL: Moss and Culpepper’s feuding in the off-season is nothing but bitter sentiment for each other. They both realize they’re great players, and could have had something special. There is no doubt that they both have eight to ten years left in them, and that would have put them in a stat book of their own.
