I am sure you will agree with me saying that, life could not have been so simple if not for these simple extraordinary people inventing objects for us. It would be sad to know that, we could never know how many women inventors where there, because the names of few women could never come in the American inventors list. And that is because, in the old days, i.e. until the late 1800s, in the United States, women were denied a patent simply for being women! Only men were granted patent, hence, they had no other option than to file a patent in their husband's or father's name. It's not only with a patent' but they were also denied entering in legal agreements.
The above list of famous female inventors does not include the names of all the woman inventors because the list is endless. Even if we don't know them by name, we all know that they have contributed equally to the world we live in today.
