The computer is invention and so is the Internet, which has made it an ever expanding source of knowledge and probably one of the most significant inventions of the 20th century. People who invent things of course do it for the benefit of the mankind, but also have that passion to produce a new object and do something different, or like they say, do things differently. I am sure you will agree with me saying that, life could not have been so simple if not for these simple extraordinary people inventing objects for us. It would be sad to know that, we could never know how many women inventors where there, because the names of few women could never come in the American inventors list. And that is because, in the old days, i.e. until the late 1800s, in the United States, women were denied a patent simply for being women! Only men were granted patent, hence, they had no other option than to file a patent in their husband's or father's name. It's not only with a patent' but they were also denied entering in legal agreements.
