Guy Savoy
A master who makes master pieces, Savoy is a legend who holds 3 Michelin stars for his landmark love for perfection of taste. Savoy owns 2 restaurants, one in Paris, one in Vegas. From modest apprenticeships Savoy has set the highest bench mark in culinary excellence. He is the youngest member of the elderly group of chefs who invented the famous Nouvelle cuisine. Savoy owns 7 restaurants serving top of the range creations, and has written 2 books.
Thomas Keller
A chef whom I have come to admire, Keller is a legend in French cooking. Keller is not just a chef but is an artist who makes his visitors admire, love and enjoy his recipes. Two landmark restaurants Per Se, which is a popular one among famous New York restaurants and The French Laundry which is one of the most famous destinations for food enthusiasts. Thomas Keller has been named as the best chef in America by the Time magazine. He also holds multiple star ratings from Michelin guide and has been a receiver of awards from the Culinary Institute of America and the world-famous James Beard Foundation. His expertise is not just restricted to kitchen as he has been named as 'Outstanding Restaurateur' by the James Beard Foundation. Stepping out on the Academic front, he holds a Degree of Doctor of Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, an honorary degree that was conferred to him. Keller has also contributed to the kitchen movie Ratatouille which was made by Pixar.
Gordon Ramsay
Often, you will find his name in several hotel reviews, as Ramsay has successfully established a large number of kitchens across the world and has also mentored several minds. A land mark achievement of Ramsay is an epic 12 times star from the audit of Michelin stars. Ramsay is also a well-known presenter of some of the best kitchen and reality shows such as Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Chef and MasterChef. Ramsay owns and operates a large number of restaurants internationally and in United Kingdom. He has also authored a considerable number of cookbooks.
Rachael Ray
Not all chefs have to cook in kitchens. However, if you love to cook then you can regularly view some of the amazing TV shows of Rachael Ray that include, Rachael Ray, 30 minute meals, $40 a Day and Rachael Ray's tasty travels. Ray's shows aim at teaching the people simple and effective food recipes. In addition to that she also has an equally popular bibliography. She has consistently appeared on Time magazine issues and also the Forbes magazine. Ray has been featured in and famous Madam Tussaud Museum of wax statues.
Mario Batali
If Italian cuisine, then Batali is simply the best. He is an expert who can conjure any recipe that you demand. Batali has come a long way, from being a dishwasher to an in-demand chef. He has opened several restaurants specializing in Italian cuisine and has also written a number of books on the same. He has been awarded by several foundations and organizations like James Beard foundation, Michelin Guide and the New York Times.
