Duck Tales
Life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg
Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes - it's a duck blur
You might solve a mystery or rewrite history
Duck Tales, Oo-oo
Tales of derring-do, bad and good luck tales, oo-oo
This is one theme song I won't forget all my life, especially the 'Oo-oo' part. This is a really popular cartoon of the '80s that features the three naughty nephews of Donald Duck: Hewey, Dewey and Louie. They come over to stay with Uncle Scrooge, the miserly duck who is a billionaire. It has always made me smile, watching Uncle Scrooge dive into his vault and swim in his money. Adventure and fun, that's what Duck Tales is all about.
G.I. Joe
He never gives up.
He'll stay till the fight's won.
GI Joe will dare.
GI Joe - A real American hero
GI Joe
G.I. Joe, the special unit under the command of Duke and General Hawk. This highly trained army fought the Cobra, the evil organization. This was truly all about good vs evil and G.I. Joe, the real American hero.
Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears
Gummi Bears,
Bouncing here and there and everywhere.
High adventure that's beyond compare,
They are the Gummi Bears.
The story of small humanoid bears called Gummi Bears who had the power of magic and advanced technology. They had fled across the sea due to their rivalry with the humans. They become just legends in the minds of the people of the colony. However, all changes when a young boy comes across a Gummi bear and he becomes a close aide and friend of the bear colony. Loved the Gummi candies sold as well as this cartoon series of the '80s.
Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'N Dale's
Rescue Rangers
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'N Dale
When there's danger
No, No, it never fails
Once they're involved
Somehow whatever's wrong gets solved.
Chip and Dale, one of my favorite '80s' cartoon. It was about two animated chipmunks of which Dale is the goofy, happy-go-lucky kind of guy and Chip is the smart schemer among the two. They have a nose for trouble and begin their own detective agency. Together with some friends, they solve crimes and have loads to adventure together.
He Man and the Masters of the Universe
I have the power!
This is one line that has got the show its well deserved glory. He-Man was a cartoon character who fought Skeletor to protect the fictional planet Eternia, a planet of magic. His was supposed to hold the Power Sword high up and say the magic words, 'By the Power of Grayskull' and get transformed into the most powerful man in the universe.
