Why a Family Tent for that Holiday Gift

Yes, as an emergency preparedness consultant for both natural and man made disasters, I'm recommending this gift for your family.

Why a family tent?

Well if an emergency occurred in your area and you needed to evacuate, which would you rather stay in: (1) a stuffy gym packed together with people like sardines or (2) a comfortable family tent in a nice beautiful state or or national park?

I would imagine that most of you would chose Door #2!

We at US Prepared, LLC believe that our state and national parks are not been utilized during regional emergencies. Most state parks that I have visited have bathrooms, showers and even electric outlets. That to me is better than having to wait in line at a gym or worse the Super Dome!

To demonstrate this concept to FEMA, legislators, emergency management administrators and the media I'm going to be hunkering down for several months in a family tent. Also several other companies have learned of my project and are interested in us showing their special built emergency tents and another company their portable geodesic dome which has been used at Katrina.
