Falling with a Bookworm
A popular guy, turns to fall in love with a bookworm. will they last long or not?
CHAPTER ONE: PARTY
Going To the part huh? Are you kidding me? Alexander Gregory invited a bookworm girl like me? What the hell is going on? I asked myself.
"Rica! Aren’t you going to dress up? It’s about time to go." My friend Cassie said.
"Yeah! It’ll be fun, you know? There’s a lot of guys there waiting for us. So come on. Get your butt down there." My cousin Jennifer added.
Those two are my best friends. We grew up together, and entered the same school together, fun eh? But the point is, I’m a bookworm. I’m there opposite, so there’s no point in going there in the ALEXANDER GREGORI’s party. I bet they’ll end on laughing at me and asked me why I’m there. Right?
"Erica!" they all open the door.
"Don’t wanna go. Come on guys, you better go there and have fun. Just leave me here okay?"
"No! You’re coming with us. There’s no point in staying here okay? We’ll make you prettier than ever! Trust us." Cassie said.
"Okaaay"
They dressed me up and put a makeup. I’m used to do this but I prefer to be simple. My mom always taught me to be simple but graceful.
"There you are. You’re gorgeous, wow. Now, come on and we’ll be late" Jen said.
As I faced the mirror, wow, I look simple but nice. They just took the glasses on my face and made me wear my sundress for the first time. And I’m wearing my flats. Cool. I bring my iphone and iPod to the boredom there.
"Rica? Is that you? WOAH!" someone behind us said.
"Babe, don’t do that! Or else –"Jen said
"I’m just joking babe. You’re gorgeous tonight" John chuckled and kissed her passionately
"Oh please. You two get a room please." I laugh and they walk out.
"Rica, just enjoy yourself here okay?" Cass said.
Oh well, what else can I do? Of course nothing. DUH.
"Is this the bookworm? Wow. I’m glad to see you here. Welcome to my party" that voice. That voice!
As I turn around, I saw him smirking at me. But then, that expression changed. It was like he was surprised to see me there. His mouth formed this letter "O", I smiled.
"I’m glad to see you too. Thanks for inviting me in your party" I politely greeted and smiled.
"You see. I wanted to get to know you better. So I invited you here." He said and walk towards me and our faces were millimeters away from each other.
"Oh yeah? Sorry. But I don’t talk to strangers." I said and walked away leaving him standing there.
"Damn!" he said.
