Fallen' Star
Is love more than a flashing, dying star?
When was the last time
You wished upon a star?
When was the last time
You wondered who you are?
Death sounds quite attractive
Until It stares you in the face
While you seek a place
To hide and wonder why
As in silence begin to cry.
Tonight the sky is clear
My body shakes in fear
As I glean the stars so bright
Upon this endless night
To catch a falling star
And wonder where you are.
When is life so fleeting
While lovers go on meeting
To race ahead of things once said
Now gone but trite and true.
Is there such a thing
As "I love You?"
My star is fading fast
Neither it nor I will last,
The fading of the moon
In summer skies of June
And like my star
I saw from afar
We both fell down
To never again be found.
