Fair Thee Not
The mysteries of the independence of a woman's heart.

It feels, it breaks, it jumps, it slumps
It freezes, it cringes
It does this all on its own
When the mind says no
It goes
When the mind says not yet
It runs anyway
But why is it that when it cries,
And the mind says I told you so, wipes its tears and helps it recover,
It goes back to doing what it does..
Climbing fast on nothing and finding that it always falls
Falling hard
Maybe the heart is meant to be a rebellion, a non-thinker, liberal, reckless, careless
Loving, passionate, exhilarate, lonesome, massed with love to give and vacant for love to be received..
Well that's how my heart feels*
