(Yulia Marquez P.O.V.)
"Bye mom. Bye dad." I grumble walking towards the door.
"Happy-" I slam the door shut and climb into my black firebird. Bzz! Bzz! I take my cell phone and turn it off. I start the car and turn the, A.C. on and drive to school. I park my car and walk to the main building.
"Happy birthday!" people say as I walk down the hallway. I fake a smile and walk to my homeroom. No one's here yet. Good. I won't get bothered with people saying 'happy birthday' to me. The lights flicker off and the room suddenly gets cold. What in the world.
"Ha ha. Very funny guys." I say. Nothing. No one comes out to try to scare me or anything. A pair of muscular hands go around my mouth and eyes. I try to break free with no luck. I bite the persons hand and the person runs off.
"Happy birthday Yulia!" The lights turn on and people surround me with hugs and birthday gifts.
"Jaz!!!!" I say. She giggles and hugs me. I look at her annoyed.
"Oh come Yulia! It's your birthday! You need to have some fun! You're 17!!!" Jaz says. Everyone nods their head in agreement. I glare at them and the smile on their faces go away.
"Fine. Ok, did EVERYONE know about this?!?!" They all whisper yes. I stand up and try to walk to the door but people are blocking my way.
"Excuse me." I grumble. No one moves a muscle. Ugh!
"Yulia! Where are you going?!?!" Jaz asks.
"I'm leaving." I mumble. Every birthday people surround me with gifts and it's like I'm suffocating!
"You can't leave!!!" she says. She brings out her famous puppy dog eyes and whimpers.
"Please!!!" she pleads. I groan and walk back to my seat and sit down. Everyone sighs relieved and they walk out of the room. Jaz follows them but stops at the door.
"Oh! Almost forgot! I have a surprise for you!!!!" she says in a sing song voice. She walks out and shuts the door. I hear a click and run to the door. I jiggle the handle and gasp.
"Jaz!!!! Let me out!!!!" I yell. I keep jiggling the handle. She smiles and waves 'bye' as she walks away.
"Jaz!!!!!!!!!!" I scream. Shoot! I left my phone in my car! I bang on the door and try punching it. Ouch!
"Jaz!!! Get your butt back here!!!!!" I scream. I look out the small window. Jaz is walking towards the door with a water bottle in her hand. She smiles at me.
"Jaz!!!! What in the world?!?!" I ask. She takes a drink of water and looks at me.
"It's part of your surprise!" she says happily. She twirls her red hair around her finger and giggles.
"It's a pretty MESSED UP surprise." I mumble.
"Oh come on! This has got to be like, the BEST birthday gift ever!" I cross my arms.
"Fine."

It's been 5 HOURS!
"Jaz!!! Someone??!?!" I yell walking to the door. I look through the window and see a guy with a gray hoodie and blue jeans walking down the hallway.
"Hey! Hey! Can you unlock the door please?!?!" I ask hopeful. I bang on the door and the person walks up. He smirks and walks away.
"Hey! Jerk........." I punch the door and my knuckles start bleeding. I lay down on the carpet and stare at the ceiling.
"What type of birthday surprise is this?!?!" I ask myself. Great! I'm talking to myself! I look at the clock. It has now been 6 hours that I have been locked in this stupid room! I close my eyes and think of Keheno. (my first kiss and first crush.) The last time I saw him was 4 years ago! small tears escape from the corner of my eyes. ( I moved to America 4 yrs. ago on the day of my 13th birthday!) I remember his black hair, his mesmerizing brown eyes, that cute smile. Snap out of it! Ugh! I slowly fall asleep.

(Keheon's P.O.V.)
I pace back and forth in my hotel room nervously. What if Yulia doesn't remember me!??!
"Room service!" a female voice says.
"Come in." I say. A girl my age walks in and says hello. She looks me up and down and giggles.
"Hi....." I say. She has red hair, blue eyes, and looks like she hardly eats.
"Are you Ke-he-no?" she asks looking at her palm.
"It's Keheno, and yes. Are you Jaz?" I ask. She shrieks.
"Ok....... wow. Today is Yulia's 17th birthday." She takes my hand and leads me out to the street. I nod my head.
"Ok. Yulia probably passed out by now. So you'll go into the classroom and wake her up." I look at her confused. We get in a cab and she tells the driver where to go. Jaz chuckles nervously and plays with a set of keys in her hand.
"Yeah. Ha. Uh, about that.......... You know, this is a really funny story. I kinda locked her in the classroom, uh, 7 hours ago." she says. My mouth drops.
"I'm so sorry!!! She should be fine.........." she says.
"Fine?!?!?! Do you KNOW who Yulia is?!?!" I yell. She nods her head.
"You'll be lucky if she doesn't have any broken bones." I grumble.
"She wouldn't................ would she???" RING! I pick up my phone.
"Hey Baby." My girlfriend, Veronica, says.
"Hey. I can't talk right now. I'll call you tonight. I love you!" I hang up and see Jaz with a shocked expression on her little face. I shrug and the cab stops. Jaz gives the money to the man and I get out. I start walking.
"This way Dummy." she says. I follow her down the sidewalk to a big building.
"Welcome to our high school." Jaz says. We walk inside and walk to a door. Jaz gasps when she see blood on the window. I'm guessing this is the room where she locked Yulia in. Jaz unlocks the door and I walk in. Please be ok Yulia! I look around and see Yulia sleeping on the floor. Her knuckles are bleeding and her hands are a bright red. I bend down next her and pick her up. She looks so.................. Perfect! Her black hair is down to below her shoulders, and she's so small! She slowly opens her eyes and smiles.
"Keheno?" she asks.
