Faded

Yeah...please just read it!!!
A lingering reflection
Just a passing of love
Within this shattered dwelling
Is a heart ache wroth speaking of

The story of a girl
Where faith and trust once lived
Now she holds her shattered heart
Finding it hard to really forgive

A soul that lost its beauty
Not so long ago
Stands now in emptiness
Trying hard to let go

Just as surely as the heart
Reminds her soul to weep
She feels the hope of loving
As she finally lays down to sleep

She holds on to the past
The past that tore her heart in two
Remembering the memories
As the pain is carried through

She still sits alone inside herself
Realizing she wonders why
Tainted with her memory
She can't help but break down and cry
