Ingredients
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 lemon or orange juice
  • 3 teaspoons honey
Preparation

In a small mixing bowl, mash bananas and mix it with three teaspoons of honey. Pour few drops of orange or lemon juice into the mixture and stir till all the ingredients are completely blended. Facial Mask #02

Ingredients
  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 teaspoons plain yogurt
Preparation

The first step would be to clean the cucumber and peel it off completely. Take half of the cucumber and chop into a small cubes. Place the cumber cubes in a food processor and add 3 teaspoons of plain yogurt to it. Blend the mixture till it becomes a smooth paste and apply to the entire face, avoiding the eye area. Allow the mask to remain on your face for 10 - 15 minutes. You can rest at the same time by placing two slices of cucumber on your eyes. After fifteen minutes, wash off the mask with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces oatmeal
  • 3 teaspoons plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preparation

Take oatmeal in a food processor and add yogurt as well as lemon juice to it. Blend these ingredients together till they become a smooth paste. Apply the mixture on your face and after 10 - 15 minutes wash it off with warm water.

Ingredients
  • 3 teaspoons green clay
  • 3 drops of palmarosa essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil
Preparation

Take palmarosa in a bowl and combine it with apricot oil. When both these oils have completely blended, add the green clay to it and stir to form a smooth paste. If your paste has become too thick, you can add some water so that spreads smoothly. Spread the paste on your entire face and allow it to stay there for ten minutes. Once the set time is over, wash it off with a warm washcloth.

One thing that you should remember about homemade facial is that these masks should not be kept for a long time and hence, it would be best to make only a small amount at a time. Though facial masks should be used at least twice, every month, it is important to wash one's face with a good facial cleanser for oily skin, 2 - 3 times in a day.
