Face Painting Designs for Kids Cheeks

Tis' the time to freak everyone out. Tis' the time to scare everyone away! Tis' the time to laugh a booming roar that will chill everyone to the bone. But this Halloween, don't be content with just a scary Halloween costume. You must go that extra mile. Indulge in some simple face painting designs that you can make on kids' cheeks, and watch everyone as they tremble with fear.

Boys
Let's first see some easy designs for boys' cheeks.

Superhero: The all time favorite costume for a boy, is the superhero theme! You have Batman, Spiderman, The Phantom, etc. to choose from. Paint their emblems on the cheeks of the boys and watch as they strut around dressed like little superheroes. You can also try out the opposite, that is villains, like Joker, the Green Goblin, etc.

Pirates: Another good idea, is to have the boys dressed up as pirates, and have a set of crossbones on one cheek, and an anchor on another cheek. Of course, no pirate is complete without the customary beard and/or goatee. So have that painted too. You can also either paint on an eye patch, or have him tie one.

Moon and Stars: Go for a midnight theme. Paint a glorious, shining crescent moon on one cheek, using white. Then, to add that shimmering look, spread a little glitter on it. On the other cheek, draw out some stars, and paint them in different colors. You can have glitter on the tips of the stars, to give them a 'twinkling' effect.

Girls
Let us now see some ideas for painting little girls' faces.

Peacock: If your little girl is wearing a peacock Halloween costume, then what you can do is, use a good face painting stencil, and trace out a peacock. Fill it in, with lovely shades of blue and green, or you can use your imagination and have a multi-colored peacock!

Vampire: If your daughter wants a scary design, then check out some vampire costume ideas and have her become a cute little vampire. Give her a set of fake fangs, and for mouth, paint drops or blotches of blood dripping down her lips, and some fang marks on her cheeks!

Insects: If you think I mean draw and paint any random insects on the little girls' cheeks, then you're right, at least sort of. Make her dress up like a flower, and her face will be the center from where the petals bloom. Draw different types of pretty insects like butterflies, bumble bees, dragonflies, ladybugs, and even fireflies (using the glitter) on both her cheeks. She'll look like a pretty flower, with all these insects rushing to the center of the flower.
