You must also decide the shape as well as the size of the flower you wish to create. Look for a vibrant colored fabric. You will need bigger petals for the bottom most layer. You could also draw the basic shape of the flower on the fabric. Make sure that you cut it neatly. This can be used as the base and the petals can then be glued or stitched onto the base. Now thread the needle and stitch these two in the center. Now get your hands on four of these pieces. Fold each piece into half and secure each of them onto the two pieces by stitching them in the center. Now you are still left with ten of the fabric pieces. All you need to do is, fold each of them twice and stitch them onto the base. You can also cut the edges of the circular pieces in a zigzag manner and proceed with the same instructions to create beautiful flowers from different types of fabric.
