Eyes

Eyes form the complex optical system that aids visual perception. They understand colors, interpret dimensions and perceive emotions. They give us the 'vision' and the insight of life.
Eyes
They house concern, love they nest,
They show hatred, rage they manifest.

Smiles they share, tears they shed,
They enable understanding something unsaid!

Something disliked, they silently finger,
On someone beloved, for long they linger!

With cruelty they ignite, with anger they burn,
They fall in love, for warmth they yearn...

They shower blessings, they wish, "all the best",
They doze with depression, they sparkle with zest.

With sorrow they dampen, they twinkle with delight,
At times, they look timid, at times, bestow might.

They are so truthful, they never tell lies,
Mirrors of our minds are these wonderful eyes!
