Eye Wrinkles Make You Look Older

Eye wrinkles start developing as people age. They are hereditary in many cases, but also can be prevented. This article discusses eye wrinkles and their effect on everyday life.
Eyes are of extreme importance to the human body. The eyes are the focal point of the face, and are in constant crossfire from all people who engage in looking at them. They can be of all shapes, forms, and colors.

Sometimes people tend to stare are someone with gorgeous eyes. Blue and green eyes are huge turn-ons in Miami and Latin America among the latin culture, who are accustomed to seeing dark brown eyes on pretty much everyone they encounter. Conversely, brown eyes and dark hair go over quite well with the lumberjack men in the northern states who are accustomed to seeing blondes with blue eyes and light skin.

The eye area is a very sensitive area of the face. Eye wrinkles can severely tarnish the image of anyone, no matter how beautiful their eyes may appear on the surface. While wrinkling, especially eye wrinkles, is a thing that happens to most people as they age, it can be avoided with some preventative measures.

Eye wrinkles usually start at the corner of the eye and expand out towards the temple area of the face. Eye wrinkles can start very small, and expand into multiple inch-long facial wrinkles. Nobody likes to look like a shar pei dog, and wrinkles around the eyes definitely make people take on this look.

Eye wrinkles can be avoided with some proper care.

1. Avoid the sun, and if you are in constant sunlight, use sunglasses and a uv-protected sunblock.

2. Add a moisturizer, or even better, an under-eye serum, to the skin under the eyes twice per day if you are over the age of 30 or find yourself starting to wrinkle near the eyes.

3. Do not smoke. Smoking causes eye wrinkles and other facial wrinkles. It's also terrible for your overall health.

4. Drink plenty of liquids. Water hydrates your skin and is a vital component of an overall healthy diet plan.

5. Sweat. Sweating gets rid of bad skin cells and promotes new skin rejuvenation.

If you follow those tips from an early age, chances are you can lessen the odds of getting wrinkles around the eyes.
