Eye Stye Relief
Eye stye is one of the common problems of human eye. It is caused by bacterial infection, some other eye diseases and poor health. There can be many things that are available at your home and can provide effective eye stye relief. To learn what are they and the method of their usage, read on.

- Accumulation of pus in the stye
- Take a clean piece of cotton cloth. Dip it in warm water and squeeze it to remove excess of water. Place it on the affected eyelid for about 10 minutes. This helps the white blood corpuscles to fight infection. Do it twice daily. A crust will be formed on the eye stye.
- Add one teaspoon of Triphala powder into one cup of water. Mix well and allow it to stay for about 9-10 hours. Filter out the water and use it as an eyewash, twice a day.
- Apply a cataplasm of some grated potato on the affected eyelid. This will help in diminishing of the infection.
- Take one teaspoon of turmeric in one cup of water. Boil it for about 10 minutes. Filter out the water by passing it through finely woven cotton fabric. Make sure no turmeric granules are left behind in the water. Use this water as an eye drop for about 2-3 times a day till you recover.
- Aloe vera is a very effective treatment for eye stye. Take an aloe vera leaf, slit it and take out some pulp. Apply it on the eye stye.
- Soak a clove in water overnight and place it on the eye stye for about 15 minutes. This will provide pain relief.
- Take one tablespoon of coriander leaves and boil them with one cup of filtered water for about 5 minutes. Filter out the water and wash your eyelid with it 3-4 times a day.
- Place a moistened tea bag on the eye stye for about 2-3 hours. This fastens the process of eye stye treatment and is considered to be one of the best eye stye home remedies.
- Take guava leaves, wrap them in a warm and wet cotton cloth. Use this wrap as a compress on the affected eye 3-4 times a day. This will reduce inflammation, redness and pain and you will receive fast relief.
- Dissolve 1-3 granules in a warm cup of water. Wash your eyes with it 2-3 times a day.
- Take handful of fresh parsley in a bowl and add one cup of water to it. Allow steeping for about 10-15 minutes. Filter the water out and damp a clean cotton cloth in it. Use this cloth as a compress on your eyes for about 15 minutes. This will reduce pain as well as puffiness.
- Boil 7-8 acacia leaves in a cup of water. Wash your eyes with it 2-3 times a day till you recover from eye stye.
