The Eye of Ra Tattoo Meaning

Osiris life was restored by Ra's eye and from that time the eye was considered as an amulet, which could ward off evil spirits. As Horus is the sun god, he is said to keep a watch on his people and observe the things they do. People consider the eye as their protector and from then onwards, the symbol was places with mummies also. Later the popularity of the eye of Ra reached other places also and since then Egyptian and also many others starting using the symbol as jewelry.
