Expecting
For those who struggle dealing with pregnancy.

Your narrow pitch rivers in the face
Gushing from the gutters beneath your eyes,
As the darkened tears crash down around you,
You tell me the reason of this utter disgrace
And you believe this is your absolute demise.
That dreadful morning when you woke up
The toxic nausea filled your body
And you spew your guts out over the floor.
Then the angel in a white coat told you,
Chills attacked your spine, you just weren't ready
When he said six weeks, maybe more.
Now you sit here, forcing needles through your pale skin,
Sitting between broken shards of glass
And your broken shards of dreams.
The pieces of your heart lie scattered on the floor,
Broken like the bottles you drank from
Because your life just fell apart at the seams.
You lie in a pool flowing from your splinters of wrist,
Trying to drown yourself and your sorrow,
You're stupid to think you're killing you.
You take another soul, another life
Just because there is no tomorrow
Without knowing your death is a death for two.
