Exercise, Sleep and a New Mattress
A brief article describing the benefits of exercise to help improve your sex life and sleeping patterns.
The message is everywhere: If you want to look good and be healthy, you'll have to get up off the couch and do a little or a lot of exercise. But did you know that getting up off the couch can also help you when you hit the sack? What's more, by increasing your level of daily activity you are also setting yourself up for a better night's sleep (once the pre-sleep bedtime festivities are over!) and that more exercise could even help you quit smoking?
It's true.
Exercise Can Drive Away the Sheep
Don't you hate it when you get in bed after a long day with thoughts of drifting off effortlessly into a deep and peaceful sleep, only to find that hours later you are staring at the ceiling, counting imaginary sheep and trying to keep an endless list of must-dos from crowding your brain? Most of us can relate to this scenario. But that doesn't mean we have to take the situation lying down. Studies have shown that exercising in the morning can mean a better sleep at night.
Just Butt Out!
Exercise, even a short workout, releases stress and causes and adrenaline rush - two things that smokers claim they get from lighting up. When you exercise, therefore, you are less likely to feel the physical urge for a cigarette. That's very good news for those who are trying to kick the habit. And since quitting smoking improves your overall health, exercising is a key component to your well-being in a number of ways.
More fun in the sack
OK, so you're well-rested, energetic, slimmed down, and you don't smoke. What more could you ask for? How about a better, more satisfying sex life? Yes, you read that right. Regular exercise can actually improve your sex life.
Decreased sexual function, and often decreased libido, can be attributed to poor overall health. When you rev up your health, chances are very good you'll find yourself have more satisfying romps between the sheets. And the sexual benefits of exercise can be experienced by both sexes; just another reason to encourage your better half to join you on your journey toward good health.
These are not the only ways in which regular exercise can improve your overall well being, but aren't they enough? Isn't having a more fulfilling, healthy, vibrant life enough to convince you to trade in that second doughnut for a pair of tennis shoes? You, your health, and your intimate relationships are worth it.
Why not buy a new more luxurious mattress for you and your other half, not only will this relieve your back from all the exercise your going to be doing it will also improve your love life.
It's true.
