Exciting Things to Do Before You Die

Good afternoon. My name is Edward Cole. I don't know what most people say at these occasions because in all honesty, I've tried to avoid them. The simplest thing is I loved him and I miss him. Carter and I saw the world together, which is amazing when you think that only three months ago we were complete strangers. I hope that it doesn't sound selfish of me, but the last months of his life were the best months of mine. He saved my life, and he knew it before I did. I'm deeply proud that this man found it worth his while to know me. In the end, I think it's safe to say that we brought some joy to one another's lives, so one day, when I go to some final resting place, if I happen to wake up next to a certain wall with a gate, I hope that Carter's there to vouch for me and show me the ropes on the other side.

Couldn't help but begin with this dialog from 'The Bucket List', a movie, that, would put 'exciting things to do before you die', in an exact perspective in a matter of 1 hour 37 minutes. Anyway, if you haven't seen the movie, here are some thrilling things to make the moments of your life magical!

• Swim with a dolphin. Is there a better way of experiencing the dolphin-love?!
• Attend at least one spectacular sporting event in your lifetime. Trust me the grandiosity is hypnotic!

• Watch the sunset from the highest peak in the world. It's INCREDIBLE to watch the sunset on a snow-clad mountain, with the love of your life!

• Volunteer in a foreign NGO for a month. It will humble you to experience the unconditional love of underprivileged people.
• See the source of at least one great river in the world. It's a marvel to see drops culminating into a magnificent source of life.
• Photograph endangered species, a great way to record 'life on earth' for your great grandchildren.
• Make love on an uncharted forest floor and then take a bath in the closest water pond. Is there a better way of discovering nature?
• Runaway!!! Not because you want to, but because you can!

• Tell your family members what they mean to you and give them a handcrafted token of love.
• Plant a tree on every birthday of yours from now on. Make the place better and greener, nothing is more satisfying than this.

• Be a role model, mentor and a leader for somebody. This is a pure EGO TRIP!
• Attend the Vipassana mediation camp once in your lifetime. A spiritual high is one things that will never leave you!

The finality of death and dying is announced the moment you take your first breath. It is a way of living life to its fullest. I am not too sure about life after death, so, live every moment of your life, like it were the last. You have one life to live and one life to love. Love your life, as there is nothing more exciting than that!
