Eh just something that came to me I know it's not complete or anything like that but I think it's very interesting and could be used in many different scenarios either literally or metaphorically...

The sky overhead was black, clouds dark as night. Black lightning descended from the heavens with bone shattering force. The world shook. The storm was ablaze with power and shadow. It was beautiful as it left absolute annihilation in its wake.
