Every Morning!

A new day has come, renewed blessings are waiting ahead and you need to remind yourself some things every morning so as to live your day to the fullest...
Each morning is a time to realize the new opportunity we are given, it is a time to expect wonderful things to happen, maybe the breakthrough you are waiting for will come today, maybe your prayer for your child will come to pass today or maybe today is the day you'll be promoted, maybe you'll meet the man/woman of your dreams today!

1. Live with expectancy!

It is very important to live life in expectancy trusting and expecting God's promises for your life to occur today! I know it is easier said than done but just as anything else you are good at, you need to practice this and you will get good at it! Yes you might say:" What if nothing I expected took place today?" In that case don't go to sleep saying:" I know it can never happen to me" or "I knew it would not happen", no, abandon thoughts like that and say:"It didn't happen today but I am one day closer to see what God said He will do for me!" Rejoice in both cases!

Have you ever baked a cake? If you did, you know that you need to keep it in the oven a certain amount of time before you can eat it! If you take it out before it is cooked - just because it smells good and you are tired of waiting-you'll soon realize how wrong you were not to let it thoroughly cook! It is not eatable!

There are things that we need to fight for, and sometimes patience is what we need in our character, because patience is an essential ingredient for excellence. God hasn't created you for mediocrity but for excellence and that is a whole new, superior level, where you need all the patience you can come up with! Remind yourself every morning that you are in a process today, you are in a school to becoming a Christ-like being because the day will come when you will reign with Him forever; with such a King, every bit, every drop of patience will be greatly rewarded!

2. Forgive and shake off disappointment!

Shake off disappointments, forgive everyone that hurt you, don't carry the burden of their evil words/behavior with you! Be light as a feather without things to hold you down! I know the pain of being hurt by the people you trusted, yet, God is more than willing to heal your heart if you only let Him.

Offenses are growing in proportion if you nurture them and they are a trap of the devil to keep you busy in your thoughts, to withdraw your energy from the things you should be doing. Don't let yourself offended, pray, read the Bible verses about offense and you'll see that the minute someone had done you wrong, that very moment that person has prepared the punishment for himself! What's more, God will set the dinner table before your enemies and they will see how God promotes you - right in front of them! Just be willing to wait on God, do not revenge yourself but let God be your vindicator and you will, you'll surely love the way God proves you right!

3. Forgive yourself!

There might be one more thing: forgiving yourself for past mistakes and failures. If the case, do that, forgive yourself for the wrongs you've done keeping in mind that God Himself has already forgiven you when you asked Him to, that is why, be humble enough and forgive yourself, don't carry burdens that you've once given to God! Don't take those back from God's hands!

4. Ask for guidance!

Let God's love fill your heart, let His peace comfort your soul; ask for wisdom, guidance and power to let God work in your heart His wonderful work of healing and restoration.

5. Remind yourself who you are!

Also, every morning, remind yourself who you are: you are a new creature in Christ with a God given destiny to fulfill on Earth, you have talent and ability that no other human has (the way you were endowed with) and your potential is growing more and more as you use it! You are unique, handpicked by The Almighty God! Remind yourself each morning that you are a king! Yes, a king! A king who will sit on the Throne with Christ for eternity! May God help us all live up to His calling!

Every morning is a new gift, a new beginning, a time when God refreshes His blessing, renews them to pour them upon us that day! Thank you Lord!
