Everlasting Gossip Stoppers
If we can condition our mindset and attitude, we have won half the battle in the subject of gossip
People are often negative, judgmental, maligning, backbiters, critical of others and rarely esteeming others better than themselves. Worse than that, they are often victims of deception, because they are not sensitive to discern situations in their day-to-day living. They often are going blindly through life, thinking that "all is well", but merely just making the "right clucking noises" as one person put it.
They are going through the motions of a typical lifestyle, but more often than not are either victims or unknowing tools of destructive tactics around them in society.
It is important for us to realize from where we are coming. And if we can get past the pride in our lives, that is half the battle.
On the surface, the subject of "gossip" may seem to be somewhat insignificant or humorous - perhaps a subject that belongs in the ladies' flower circle or behind church walls. But I can assure you this devious, almost "living organism" with its ingenious subtle methods is poisonous and deadly, destroying individuals, families, marriages and even cities and towns.
The local tabloid is just the tip of the iceberg in what destruction gossip can do to society. If we can be more discerning about the dangers of sowing discord around us, our future success may depend on how to understand it and neutralize this diabolical tool.
