Longoria, 33, has been denying the pregnancy rumors all summer. She reportedly told Extra, "I wish people would just chill out. You’ll know when it happens." She also said that she and Jennifer Garner have recently "bonded." Garner also dealt with the pregnancy rumors until she recently announced her second pregnancy. Longoria said of Garner, "When I saw her she was like, ‘I know. They just need to chill out. They’re going to find out eventually.’"
Longoria has said that when she does get pregnant she will wait three months before letting the cat out of the bag just to be on the safe side. She said, "You just don’t say anything for health reasons. You want to make sure everything’s okay." Longoria’s co-star, Felicity Huffman, weighed in on the rumors and said, "She’s just fat, that’s all there is to it!" Longoria has been seen looking "fuller" than usual and has said that it is for her role on Desperate Housewives. Later this season she will even reportedly wear a fat suit for a storyline when the show jumps five years in the future.
Longoria and her husband Tony Parker, a point guard for the San Antonio Spurs, were married in his native France in July 2007. The couple met in 2004 in the locker room after a Spur’s game and began dating that January. Her rep announced their engagement in November 2006 and said, "I am thrilled to announce that Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, who have been dating steadily for two years, are officially engaged." Parker recently said that she "can’t wait to start a family." She added, "I’m so excited about that chapter in our lives."
