Read on to know who meets who in the quarterfinals of the 2010 edition of the Europa League.
The last round saw some great matches and the draws for the quarterfinals involving the winners of the round of 16 in Europe's second tier competition are given below.

Liverpool overcame a 1-0 defeat away to Lille, beating them comprehensively 3-0 at Anfield later with two spectacular goals from star striker Fernando Torres, after captain Steven Gerrard put the spot kick past the Lille keeper in the 8th minute. They have been handed their Europa League quarterfinal match against Portuguese side Benfica. Benfica themselves are nothing to be sneezed at and have already eliminated an English team, Everton, from this competition in spectacular fashion.

The other English side in this competition Fulham, who enjoyed a great European night eliminating Juventus 4-1 no less at their home ground which the Fulham coach Roy Hodgson claimed to be one of his greatest victories. They face German champions Wolfsburg. But seeing how Fulham played last time around in this edition of the Europa League, they need not fear the German Champions too much...

But the talking point of this Europa League quarterfinal draw is clearly the game between Spanish powerhouse sides Atletico Madrid and Valencia. While both enjoy indifferent form at times, the event is big enough for both teams to put up a good show of attacking football.

The first round fixtures are:
  • Benfica vs Liverpool
  • Hamburg vs Standard Liege
