Ethan Hawke’s a Daddy Again

Hawke’s rep, Mara Buxbaum, confirmed the birth and said the baby was born Friday in New York City and was named Clementine Jane Hawke. When Buxbaum first announced the pregnancy, she said of the couple, "I can confirm and they are thrilled." Hawke, 37, met Shawhughes, 28, when she was a nanny to his children while he was still married to actress Uma Thurman. After he and Thurman split he reportedly hooked up with Shawhughes. Hawke and Shawhughes were married in a quiet ceremony last month. Hawke has two children - Maya Ray, 10, and Levon Roan, 7, with Thurman. This is the first child for Shawhughes.

Hawke and Thurman met on the set of their movie Gattaca in 1997 and were married in May 1998. They split after five-years of marriage in 2003. It was rumored that Hawke had an affair, but he has denied that that caused the break-up of the marriage. He said in a 2004 interview, "The story of us breaking up over infidelity has been an annoying one. If our problems were that simple, we’d still be together. Uma and I were having troubles long before the press got a hold of us."

Their divorce was finalized in 2005 and the couple has since formed an "amicable" relationship for the sake of their children. Hawke and Thurman live down the street from one another in Manhattan and share custody of their children. Thurman has moved on herself and is now engaged to Arpad Busson. No wedding date has been set, but there have been rumors that the couple is expecting their first child together.
