I didn’t speak to Alyx for a whole day. I was feeling a little weird about the other day with his parents.
I opened the door two days after and Alyx was standing with a bunch of roses in his hand.
"Hi" I said nothing.
"Uh…can I come in?"
"That depends…let me see if my parents are here" I said sarcastically and started to close the door. He darted through and was behind me as I closed it. I glared at him, sat down the on the sofa and turned on the TV.
"Max, I’m sorry if I upset you" he said and I snorted.
"My parents run a bakery but lately it’s not been doing so well and they were upset. I was trying to make them feel better and when you left I took them out. If they weren’t feeling so down I wouldn’t have turned you away like that. I’m sorry" he sounded sincere. I turned to face him and sighed.

"I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have reacted like that. It was childish and silly" I got up and sat on his lap. He buried his face in my neck and chuckled.
"We were both silly. But we’re over it now right" I asked. I nodded and we had a make-up kiss.

I got a call from him the other day and it started off absolutely normal. We talked a bit about his life, then my life and I made up more things about my imaginary husband. Then he said he was coming to visit me. I tried to change his mind but he’s stubborn! My father’s coming to visit me, I’m a vampire and he thinks I’m married. Can my life get any more complicated?!
