Eternally 2 (Part 1)

I heard the raised voices before I saw them. I pushed the door to my flat open and stepped in to watch, it was always fun to watch them fight.

A knife went flying across the room, over the settee and into Daniel’s left forearm. He pulled it out and chucked it back at Dave.

"…ALWAYS DO IT!" Dave was screaming. Daniel grabbed some scissors in reply and chucked them at Dave’s head.
"BECAUSE IT’S SO EASY!" Dave flew across the room and pounded his fists into his brother’s chest, he was lifted off his feet and flung towards me, I smartly side-stepped out the way.
"WELL DAVE, IF YOU STOPPED GOING OUT WITH STUPID WHORES, THEN I WOULDN’T TRY IT ON WITH THEM!"

This was the wrong thing to say to Dave. He pounded his fists into Daniel’s face and stomach. It didn’t really have an effect on Daniel, and it wouldn’t ever. Werewolves can’t really feel pain, whatever form they’re in. Dave once told me, they only feel a slight sting, like if a baby has slapped them on the arm. They weren’t coming to any harm fighting. I got the gist of what had happened between them from the words they spat at each other. Dave has recently started going out with some girl called Sabrina and Daniel must have tried it on with her. I couldn’t tell whether it had worked or not though, I listened further.

"BUT SAPPHIRE MUST BE A WHORE, BECAUSE SHE’S GOING OUT WITH YOU!" Daniel screamed in his brother’s face, reached behind his head, found a book and slammed it over Dave’s head. Dave snarled and narrowed his eyes.
"IT’S SABRINA, AND WHY CAN’T YOU GET YOUR OWN FUCKING GIRLFRIEND?!"
"I HAVE PLENTY OF FUCKING GIRLFRIENDS FOR YOUR INFORMATION!"

Dave stood up straight and cocked his head to the side.
"Then stay away from mine" he said softly. And just when I thought he was walking away, he turned around, fury blazing in his eyes, and aimed a kick right between Daniel’s legs. Daniel howled, truly like a wolf, and curled into himself. I sniggered; I guess they can feel pain. I stored that bit of info somewhere in my head for later. They are always hitting on me, and I can never get them to leave me alone.

I walked into the kitchen, dumped the bags on the counter and pulled the popcorn out the bag. I slung it in the microwave and searched in the cupboard for a glass. Dave came in and I high-fived him.

"Well done dude. Just asking, did it work?" He knew what I was asking about and a small smile crept up his face, and he shook his head.
"No. I really think Sabrina’s the one." I grinned and gave him a hug; she must be if she hadn’t jumped into bed with Daniel. Daniel and Dave look alike- Tall, and thin but with a LOT of muscles (and very sexy six packs) lovely blonde hair that flops into their turquoise (!!) eyes and very kissable looking lips-except Daniel has more charm and confidence.

My popcorn finished popping; I grabbed a bowl, emptied it into it, got my OJ, my DVD from the Chinese dude down the road and went into the living room. I stepped over Daniel, pushed all the Chinese Take-away boxes off the coffee table and set my stuff down. For Mythical beings, we really are pigs. I slipped He’s really not that into you in and sat back on the sofa. I love watching DVDs; I always have, ever since I was human. It’s relaxing just watching other people with their problems and crap love lives. It reminds me that as a Vampire, I won’t ever really have to go thought that much trouble again, Ever.
I moved down on the sofa and two seconds later Jem walked through the door.

"Hi Dave, Hi Max, Hi Da-. What’s wrong with Dani- Oh! Who did that t- Oh!" Jem stared at Daniel for a moment before plopping down (gracefully of course) besides me. She smiled at me before turning to the TV.

"What we watch- Oh." Jem always talks like this, she will start asking a question, but get the answer in the middle of it and then just say, Oh! Occasionally someone gets to answer the question for her, but it’s quite rare.

Jem is about my height, with long black hair down to the small of her back, she has a cute heart-shaped face, with big silver eyes and heart-shaped lips. She is beautiful, like me (not boasting) and we work in the same nightclub.

I stood, leaning against the bar, and swept my gaze over the whole club. Head, Shoulders Knees and Toes was blasting in every corner of the room, and Dreamz was heaving. Jem was on the other side of the room, talking to someone she knew.
A group of people entered and I briefly checked them out. They were clean, no drugs or weapons hidden anywhere on their bodies. I turned my head as yet again, a guy pinched my ass. I didn’t even blink; I just carried on with my surveillance. It always happened, if you worked in Dreamz you better be prepared to be groped and pinched every minute. I asked Jordan behind the bar for a Bacardi Breezer and she popped the lid off and handed it over.

As I lifted it to my lips, a scent very familiar to me, wafted from across the room. My hand paused and my head snapped up, my eyes already searching. I saw who I was looking for immediately. He stood, in front of the door, staring at me. If I had a heart, it would’ve skipped a few beats.

Hiya people!
I am so sorry it's been a few days since I've submitted anything. And as the for the week before i submitted the rewrite, I'll explain.

My little sister spilt cereal all over the keyboard, so it stuck and stopped working. So then, you know Onscreen Keyboard? Yeah well for a week we had to use that till this week my bought a new keyboard.

Do you know how hard it is to write ONE SENTENCE with OS-K let alone a whole chapter? It's very slow and long.

So I hope you forgive me and enjoyed this chapter.
