The Essential Sun Skin Care For Men

Many men like outdoor activities. Playing sports, hiking, working outside is part of our active nature. But, what happens when this extended time outdoors become a hazard to us? We know that the sun can have harmful effects on our skin, ultimately bringing skin cancer to our life; that is why it is of utmost importance to properly take care of our skin while under the sun.

Tips to Protect Our Skin from the Sun

1.Avoid sun exposure from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the period between these hours is when the sun is most harmful, especially at 12 p.m.

2.Use a solar protection cream of at least 15 SPF. The more sensitive your skin, the higher the SPF recommended. Use the cream everyday if you are planning to go outdoors, be generous when applying the cream onto your skin. And don’t think the clouds will protect you form the harmful rays of the sun. They can’t, so apply the cream in every place where the light of the sun can enter.

3.Use a hat. Baseball hats protect only the face, but they aren’t useless for the ears and neck. If you’re staying a long time under the sun, it is best to use a cowboy style hat, that casts a shadow to all our head.

4.Use clothing with long sleeves to protect your arms. Nowadays you can find these type of clothing made specially for sun protection. The looser the clothing the fresher you’ll feel. Of course this might be hard if not torturing, if the overall climate is hot.

5.Wear sunglasses, the rays of the sun also harm our eyes, you can use special UV glasses.

These are proven tips for protecting your skin, and don’t forget to have a medical check once in a while. This way you are prevented and prepared, and remember that skin damages are better to treat early.
