Definition of Environmental Science
Environmental science is the scientific study of the ways in which biological, physical and chemical components of the environment interact and the relations between them. Environmental science and ecology are overlapped but different science disciplines. Ecology is the study of the interactions of living organisms with their environments, including relationship with other organisms. Environmental science is multidisciplinary in nature and provides a broad area of study of environmental systems integrating both biological and physical concepts with an interdisciplinary approach.

Definition of Environmental Technology
Environmental technology is the application of environmental science and sustainable development for the purpose of environmental conservation by curbing negative impacts of human-environment interaction and protecting the natural environment. The concept of sustainable development is a means to avoid conflict between economic development and environmental protection. Environmental technology employs economically viable and eco-friendly technologies to apply sustainable development as a solution to environmental issues by finding ways to save and protect the environment and inflict minimal harm to natural resources. Environmental technology (EnviroTech) is also called green technology (GreenTech) and clean technology (CleanTech).
