The US Environment Protection Agency along with the US Department of Energy created a label known as "Energy Star". This was created to help the consumers to save money on energy bills and also to minimize pollution of air.

A few of the appliances on which the logo of "Energy Star" could be found are the refrigerators, dishwashers, air conditioners, washing machines and dryers.
