Endangered Species

Species that are on the verge of extinction due to their decreasing population on account of environmental or predatory factors are referred to as endangered. The African and Asian elephants, the blue whale, the western gorilla, the red wolf, the tiger, the marine otter and the giant panda are some of the endangered mammals. In birds, there are Crested Shelducks, the Marquesan Kingfishers, the Mauritius Kestrels and the whooping cranes. In fish, there are Siberian and Alabama sturgeons and the silver sharks. All these and many more, are listed as endangered animals. In plants, we have the dragon tree, the Monkey puzzle, the clay's hibiscus, the star cactus and many other names we may have never even heard of, that are enlisted as endangered plant species.
