Emily's Song

A nice little poem I wrote for a friend of mine enjoy.
"Oh young innocent girl

Hero's aren't real

the live on paper

And pay for the writers meal

I've learned a lot from you

And I hope you have too

P.S.- I hope to see you soon

Love,

Jerry Blues"

Sorrow engulfs my body

As I elaborate these words

'Cause this writer knows not of the girl i know

This girl who's strong and beautiful

Wise and educated

He knows not that hero's are real

'Cause when I talk to you thats who you are and thats what I feel

So, remember me often

Remember me well

Remember all those glorious triumphs

And those days that went to hell

Cause when advice is needed these words will never fail

They will reach you through earth, air or sail

So let me liberate you now

As I ring these harmonious bells

Above all remember stay true to yourself

Love,
