Elton John Claims Billy Joel Should Enter Rehab

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Elton John said that Billy Joel needs tough love and should spend meaningful time in rehab.
The Rocket Man has called out the Piano Man, citing times when the two toured together when Joel's alcoholism negatively impacted performances. Elton John told Rolling Stone that Billy Joel's drinking problem created problems when the two toured together and that shows were canceled as a result of Billy's alcoholism.

Elton John went on to say that he's certain Joel will hate him for opening up about his problems, but John seemed to think that Joel needs a swift kick in the pants in order to get his life back in order. John referred negatively to the type of rehab stints that Joel has undergone in the past, saying that he needed a tougher environment in which to focus on recovery and sobriety.

In other celebrity addiction and rehabilitation news, CBS has ordered replacement episodes of other sitcoms in order to cover the whole created in its lineup by the extended absence of Charlie Sheen. Reports are that Sheen will be unable to film any new episodes of Two and a Half Men for at least three months, although the network has not confirmed those reports.

Sheen was recently admitted to a Los Angeles hospital after complaining of severe abdominal pain. It is believed that Sheen was in the midst of a several-day drug and alcohol bender at the time of his admission to the hospital.

During an interview yesterday on the Howard Stern Show, porn star Kacey Jordan said that she was with Sheen in the hours prior to him being taken to the hospital. She said that he was drunk and smoking cocaine from a pipe. She also said that Sheen paid her $30,000 for her attending his "party" and that he had devised a plan to house several porn stars and prostitutes in a luxurious home that he intended to purchase. Jordan said Sheen planned to use the women and the property as his personal sexual amusement park, but would pay the women handsomely for their participation.
