Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi Split?

It was recently reported that DeGeneres and De Rossi have been having troubles at home for quite some time and that they finally decided to call it quits. Kelly Bush, DeGeneres’ spokeswoman, denied the claims saying, "The Star and Chicago Sun-Times articles are fabricated and false." She added, "If you believe these ‘reliable sources’ Ellen and Portia have also had several weddings, adopted a baby AND are pregnant."

DeGeneres and De Rossi met in March 2004 during a photo shoot. Nine months later they ran into one another at VH1’s "Big in 2004" awards show and soon after were an item. De Rossi moved into DeGeneres’ mansion weeks later and the two have been together ever since. For DeGeneres’ 47th birthday De Rossi gave her a wedding band as a symbol of their love. She also bought herself a matching ring.

DeGeneres and De Rossi have recently been embroiled in a nasty dog custody battle. The couple adopted a dog, Iggy, from the Mutts & Moms dog rescue only to realize that he was not fitting in with their other dog, Wolf, and their three cats. The couple gave Iggy to DeGeneres’ hairdresser. Marina Batkis, the owner of Mutts & Moms, contacted the couple to see how Iggy was doing and was very upset that the dog had been given away without their knowledge. Batkis also claimed that it was "in violation" of their contract. Iggy was taken away from DeGeneres’ hairdresser and placed with another family despite the talk show host’s pleas to let her hairdresser keep the dog.
