Element Fairies 9

The Phantasm shoots a beam from its mouth towards her but her transformation was already complete and she dodges it.

"Mystic avalanche." The ground started to break into rocks and hover on top of the Phantasm’s head. It then drops from the sky and hit the Phantasm below. It was injure but it begins to slip into two.

"What the hell!"

"It’s dividing itself, hurry and destroy the core with the weapon."

"Alright." She closes her eyes and focuses the aura onto her hand.

"Terra mallet," and a dark brown mallet appear on her hand. She flies to it and smack the monster’s chest with the mallet. The Phantasm’s two heads begins to scream when its core is destroy, stopping it from slitting itself in two. Jasmine flies away from it and circle around the fiend. She stops in midair and the mallet disappears.

"Finalis spell," and the earth aura starts to gather around her and become stronger.

"Earth Cobra," she cast and a giant cobra came out of the earth and look at the Phantasm. It burrow into the earth again and rushes towards the injure Phantasm. Once it’s below it, it comes out and wraps the monster around and burrow back into the ground. Jasmine landed back on the ground and they both separate.

"Lucky that was a weak one."

"You got that right." She suddenly remembers her father and ran up to his side.

"Dad, are you alright?" He opens his eyes and looks at her.

"Jasmine, it’s you. Heh, I got a feeling I might find you here someday."

"We need to get you to the healing room."

"No need Jasmine, no need." Selena look at him and gasp in surprise.

"You’re Val’s dad, it’s you."

"What!" but Selena didn’t pay any attention to her.

"Oh, Selena, how are you."

"Fine, but look at you, you’re still look young the first time I saw you."

"Remember Selena, earth’s time is faster than this time."

"Oh, I forgot."

"Wait hold on here, what is going on?" They both look at her. "Why is Selena calling you Val’s dad?" Wong looks at the ground and in his eyes, lies a secret that have to be said.

"Selena, teleport me and Jasmine inside the storehouse, I need to tell her something."

"Okay, come on Jasmine, grab my hand." Jasmine walks over to her and holds her hand.

"Go," Selena said and they teleported into the storehouse. It was empty just like the first time she enters it.

"Selena, can you go out now."

"Sure." She walks out of the storehouse and closes the door behind her. He turns to Jasmine to face her.

"So what is it? Is Val my stepbrother or something?"

"No, it’s not. It’s that," he took a deep breath before he said; "I’m not your father."

"What? I don’t understand?"

"I’m not your father Jasmine; I’m only a fairy whose assignment is to watch over the future Former guardian."

"But, if you’re not my father, then…"

"Your real father and mother died Jasmine, I’m sorry." Jasmine’s world starts to fall apart and she leans on a wall, slowly sliding down in a sitting position.

"C-can you," Jasmine stutter, "tell about them and how I end up on earth?"

"You sure you want to hear it?"

"Tell me, dad or whatever you are. I want to know everything." Wong took a deep breath before he starts.

Your father was a fairy, a handsome fellow in fact. His name is John and he was the fairy guardian of fire. During that time, we fairies were having an all out war with the dark fairy, an evil fairy who wants to destroy the fairy world and take control of earth. Of course like right now, the guardians protect the fairy world from the Phantasm. As for your mother, she was a beautiful woman named Cassandra, the most beautiful fairy in the land, even more beautiful than the radiance of the sunset. She was a Former guardian like you and back then I was the fairy guardian of ice like Val. Your mother and Father fell in love with each other overtime and I also fell in love with your mother but her heart is devoted only to your father. They soon married and had a beautiful child. That is you, Jasmine; you were born in the fairy world. They were so happy living together until that one day when we have that chance to defeat the dark fairy. The other guardians distracted the Phantasm guards, while your mother, father and I confronted the dark fairy. I form with your mother and…"

A dark castle looms over the horizon, silently with jagged mountains circling around it. Then a sudden boom broke the silent, announcing an explosion. Another explosion occurs, making a hole on the side of the castle. A dark winged figure flew out of the hole, followed by a blue winged figure.

"You’re over dark fairy!"

"Don’t go overboard Cassandra," a voice whispers inside her head.

"I’m not going overboard Wong, and anyway, we’re winning."

"That’s why I’m telling you not to go overboard," but Cassandra doesn’t seem to care and follows the dark fairy.

"You’re not getting away. Ice Gravity!" The sheet of ice broke from the sky and the shards slowly fall down. It slows down and hovers in midair. The dark fairy continues to fly, avoiding the sharp ice shards. She closes her hand into a fist and the shards close in on the fairy but somehow it manages to get out of the way before impact.

"Damn, I almost got it."

"Let me try," said a voice. Cassandra smiles when she heard the voice and look up to see John, the fire fairy, flying above them.

"Fire beam," he cast and the fire beam hit the fairy. It spun out of control and crash into the castle.

"Got him!"

"Good one John." They both went into the hole and look as the fairy stood up, its two feet shuddering.

"It’s weak, kill it now."

"Not so fast," it said with an eerie voice. It stretches out its hand and grabbed Cassandra by the neck. The young twenty year old Wong immediately gets out of her body and hit the wall.

"Cassandra!" John flies towards her avoiding the sharp needles the dark fairy shots out. He snatches her hand and they both form.

"Forming is useless," it said and John knew he was right because he could feel Cassandra and his aura being sucked out.

"Get out John."

"No, I wouldn’t leave you like this."

"Please do it or you’ll die if he sucks all of your aura out and then I will die too."

"Even if I did get out, you’ll die and then fairyland and earth will be in jeopardy." Cassandra knows he is right and said, "So what do you want to do then?"

"Let’s try the seal spell to seal him."

"But, we’ll both die anyway."

"Don’t be scare Cassandra. I love you." Cassandra stops struggling.

"If you were to die, I’ll die with you." The dark fairy continues to suck up their aura and Cassandra knows they don’t have much time and look at Wong.

"Wong."

"What is it?"

"We’re going to use the seal spell with the last of our aura."

"But you guys don’t have enough aura, unless…no, you guys wouldn’t do that."

"It’s the only way."

"But you guys will die!"

"We know that’s why we want you to freeze the seal when the spell is complete."

"That’s crazy talk! You guys will live and be with your daughter!"

"Please Wong there’s not much time." He looks at himself and said, "Alright, I’ll do it." Cassandra smile and closes her eyes to begin casting the spell.

"What? What is this?" the dark fairy said panicky, "they’re willing to sacrifice their life?" A red aura came from behind the dark fairy and starts to flow around them.

"This can’t be happening! I’m the dark fairy! I can’t be defeated!" The aura continues to flow around them and started to harden.

"…Now, with the aura to my will, I command you to seal this fairy with us! I command you to do it now!" The aura becomes stronger and stronger and soon, they became encase inside a crystal-like rock. Sadness hung in his heart and he walks over to the seal. He closes his eyes and took a deep breath. He puts his hand on the seal.

"Ice retaliation." A sheet of ice covers the whole crystal and he let his hand slide down the slippery ice. He turns around and walks out of the hole with cheerless heart.

"Your father and mother die on that day and I took you in. Once I retire as a fairy guardian, I went to live on earth with you. My friends help me, casting spells on people so I can become the principal of a school like right now and of course, fairy time is faster than earth’s time." Jasmine stay quiet but Wong knows that she have been listening to every word. Then something shots through her head.

"What day is it?" Wong looks at her with confuse eyes.

"I mean on earth."

"Oh! It’s probably July second, eleven O’ clock by now."

"Oh my god! I haven’t even found a dress yet!"

"What do you need a dress for?"

"The party da- I mean Wong."

"The party? Of course but I think you could find better dress in this world."

"Really, thanks!"

"Here," Selena said walking over to the door, "I’ll help you find one." They both rush out the door and past Meng, who sat behind the cargo listening the whole time.
